Fatigue (3 + Strength + Stamina = Fatigue Total)

Fatigue is a measure of a character’s ability to last in battle. By spending Fatigue a
warrior can augment his attacks with great might or speed. Additionally certain
Birthsign powers and racial abilities may interact with Fatigue, such as the Moonshadow
ability granted to those born under the sign of the Thief which costs 3 Fatigue to
activate.
Fatigue recovers naturally at a rate of 1 per round not spent fighting or moving. If a
character attacks, casts a spell, moves up to his speed or more, rolls any defense dice, or
takes a strenuous action (such as lifting a heavy object, kicking in a door, or shouting
commands to his troops) then he does not recover any Fatigue that round.
However, a character in combat or performing strenuous activity can attempt an
Athletics + Resolve roll to recover 1 point of Fatigue. If the character is above half
Fatigue, then only one success is needed. If the character is below half, but not at zero,
then 3 successes are required. If the character has become Exhausted (zero Fatigue)
then 5 successes are needed to recover 1 point of Fatigue (removing the Exhausted
condition).
When a character reaches zero Fatigue they become Exhausted and suffer a -2 penalty
all die pools and defenses. When Exhausted Fatigue does not replenish at a rate of 1
per round as normal, instead the character must rest for 1 minute to recover 1 point of
Fatigue (removing the Exhausted condition).

Power Attack
Power Attacks by weapon weight:
Light: 2 Fatigue spent yields 1 bonus damage
One-handed: 1 Fatigue spent yields 1 bonus damage
Two-handed: 2 Fatigue spent yields 3 bonus damage

There are Perks that allow you to power attack “twice” or “three times” by spending
that much more Fatigue on a single attack. However, by default a warrior can only
power attack for these set values.

Swift Attack
A warrior may choose to burn his Fatigue to issue forth multiple attacks with great
speed. Doing so is easier with lighter weapons and more costly with heavy weapons.
Performing a Swift Attack grants 1 additional attack (Perks may allow more), meaning
you roll 2 separate die pools for 2 separate attacks on the same target. Performing a
Combat
Swift Attack grants a penalty to your die pool (to account for the loss of accuracy) based
on weapon weight as follows:

Dagger: 1 Fatigue/-1 penalty to hit

Light: 2 Fatigue/-1 penalty to hit
One-handed: 4 Fatigue/-2 penalty to hit
Two-handed sword: 6 Fatigue/ -3 penalty to hit
Two-handed: 8 Fatigue/ -4 penalty to hit
Two-handed Hammer or Mace: 10 Fatigue/ -5 to hit

You may not combine Power Attacks and Swift Attacks without powerful Perks.
