Prima Rosa

Your first glimpse was like that of a cheerful primrose, in the beginning of spring
Your love bloomed in my heart, like that of a primrose in the woodland grims
A psyche that feeds on nectar as sweet as a yellow primrose,
Similar to your psyche in my woodland cleared heart
You were my amor primus, like that of a prima rosa
Not knowing our love was forbidden
I thought I was yoursa

The poem “prima rosa” written by the poet aahiinsvvr, is a poem that comes under the category
of forbidden love or a sad love, it correlates the sad emotions felt by a lover in a tragic love story
with that of a flower called ‘primrose’, it deptics all those emotions felt in a love story from the
beginning to the end, that unfortunately ends up being incomplete

This poem talks about the feelings felt by one upon seeing their future lover with a future that is
unknown

I would now like to describe and analyse each line in the poem and it goes as follows

The first sentence in the poem says that “Your first glimpse was like that of a cheerful primrose,
in the beginning of spring” this represents the first sight where the person falls in love with their
so called future lover , primroses are those flowers that bloom beautifully and are often seen as a
sign of beginning of spring season or otherwise are seen to welcome it , and the word
‘cheerful’here represents the bright colors in which the flower is seen, this sentence shows the
happiness of the person at the sight of their lover for the first time, whilst showcasing the
personality of their lover by comparing it with the vibrant and lively features of the flower that
one can feel while looking at ‘them’

Which is then followed by the sentence “Your love bloomed in my heart, like that of a primrose
in the woodland grims” often primroses are seen to grow in barren lands, that are usually covered
with fallen leaves and give out a gloomy and dark feeling which represents the persons heart in
the poem that was empty and lonely for long, which later grew to be filled with joy and
excitement when the person first saw their lover correlating this experience to the growth of the
flower primrose in a woodland area which causes the place to gleam vibrantly.

The poet then making use of ‘double entendre’ brings together the next two lines which goes as
follows “A psyche that feeds on nectar as sweet as a yellow primrose,
Similar to your psyche in my woodland cleared heart” here the word that makes use of ‘double
entendre’ is ‘psyche’, wherein
The first literal meaning of the word goes to represent the butterfly and the second meaning goes
to represent the soul, mind or the personality, in this case of the lover that the person is speaking
of throughout the poem, here a Psyche butterfly feeds on nectar that is sometimes produced by
the flower primrose which is as sweet as the flower looks and this feature of the flower is being
compared with the personality or the soul of the persons lover , that grew later on in the persons
heart after initially falling for them at first sight

The next sentence “You were my amor primus, like that of a prima rosa” the word ‘amor primus’
in Latin means 'first love’ and the word ‘prima rosa’ is a common latin phrase for ‘first rose' in
the above sentence the person tells us that their lover was their first love like that of the first rose,
first rose represents the flower primrose itself and due to the fact that primroses are often seen to
be in vibrant and cheerful colors like that of white, red, yellow and pink giving someone a
primrose flower is thought of as ‘young love’ or in some cases first love, essentially primroses
mean renewal of youth and optimism as well as purity of young love and being someone's first,
and most of the times these flowers are exchanged on the first love day to celebrate the birth of
their love and give meaning to it by spending time together, whereas,

The following sentence “Not knowing our love was forbidden” represents the arrival of doom to
their love story that seemed to be smooth sailing, not only does this sentence have a literal
meaning that ‘their love was not meant to be’ but it is again correlated to the fact that the bulb of
the flower primrose is poisonous to animals if eaten and goes to show that, when compared the
flower primrose perfectly summaries the tragic love tale by describing that, although the flower
itself brings joy and excitement to one and has a scent that is so memorable, combined with its
nectar that is unforgettable, it has its own toxic fate being poisonous that makes it painfully
mortal just like a forbidden love story that seemed to be eternal and brought joy to one

The poem ends with that line “I thought I was yoursa” which represents the persons final
realisation accompanied with acceptance for the fact that all what they had would not last forever
and can never be taken to the afterworld and that that all their promises and time spent together
would soon become meaningless as they have nothing left that makes them bound to one another
, the realisation that they have to come to terms of not only forgetting and forgiving each other
but the future they thought was theirs but did not exist in this existence forever, it is the painful
realisation that every time they grieve for their past that they thought had a future they remember
the other is alive and near at distance but not in heart in this existence

This explanation only represents my point of view and what I had felt while writing the poem,
but as a reader if you wish to change the meaning by looking at it from your point of view, feel
free to do so, as literature is something that is felt, thought and understood by one's own meaning
given to it , I hope you liked the poem
Thank you!!

Memories
Memories, something remembered from the past
Things that should be remembered,
Things that shouldn't be remembered
Belonging to the same class
Life led by one, yet numerous memories untold
No matter where you are, what you are,
Memories are an unceasing doled
Thinking of memories is an unending wold,
Rather at times, memories became an inexpensive dote

Deep Inside Ocean

When you are so deep in love that you feel like a siphonophore, deep inside the ocean
So versed with your surroundings feeling so snug that pulling it out from there will make it burst,
None of my body parts could function on their own before you came to me,
You healed me and you made us survive together, cling onto life,
You made us create our own light to brawl against the world

The Beauty of a Fading Flower

The petals of a flower falling one by one, just like all the promises we made
The dying flower in the memory of our love,
The birth of a new flower in the happiness of a new memory,
Screams of the dying flower heard from miles away, Just like your love screeching in my mind
Each of your breaths bringing the flowers closer to death,
All the petals floating wherever you go,...with you
Your soul is the light for all the fallen petals
Bleeding heart
Our love filled with ranges , has now come to a shallow end,
We were so full, full of love,
That I never thought our love would be like a bleeding heart,
Maybe I was the only one who thought that our love would be like a heliotrope,
Full of unconditional love like that of your regretful facade,
Looking at you got me tears of blood dangling at my heart ,
Someone must have thought that you were a romantic at heart,
But, I know that you are a poison at heart
Our love growing in the light shade found its daybreak.

The poem ‘bleeding heart’ written by the poet aahiinsvvr comes under the category of sad love
or forbidden love it's premise allows the reader to correlate the features of this beautiful flower
with those emotions felt by a lover in a tragic lover story, that unfortunately ends with them no
longer being together for some particular reasons

Bleeding heart is one such beautiful flower not only because of the way it looks but because of
its name, it's representation, meaning and the way it is has been exchanged historically, when
talking about its external features it looks just like a heart that has been broken apart, with a drop
that is dangling at its bottom, which looks like a drop of blood when seen in a red flower and in a
white bleeding heart flower, which is very rarely seen it looks like a teardrop, apart from looking
like a broken heart it also has other representations like a lady in bath, all of its features provide
the flower a lot of depth and inner meaning, and once known the flower is surely encaptured by
the heart

I would now like to describe and analyse each line of the poem, and it goes as follows

The poem begins with the sentence ‘Our love filled with ranges , has now come to a shallow
end’, the word ‘ranges’ here represents how a bleeding heart flower has so many colors, along
with the different meanings given to it according to the situation they are being used in, including
one's own premise upon receiving them, similar to that of a love story that has many phases and
is given a different meaning from each viewpoint, in a similar manner, here, ‘shallow end’ not
only means the way in which, love can end, but, also talks about it being the most common
ground for the growth of a bleeding heart flower to take place.

“We were so full, full of love,

That I never thought our love would be like a bleeding heart”
This sentence not only talks about the joyous emotions felt by one, accompanied with hopeless
romance during a love story, but, also makes use of the apt physical features of a bleeding heart
flower, yet again, by taking into account the broken heart shape of the flower along with the
hanging teardrop structure, these features can not only be seen physically but also be felt by one
emotionally, when looking at it , especially for a red coloured bleeding heart flower, the use of
these features along with the emotions that can be felt, such as pain, sorrow, invalidating
feelings, loss of attachment among many others, can clearly explain how one might feel in the
moment where their romantic story falls apart

“Maybe I was the only one who thought that our love would be like a heliotrope” this sentence
makes use of a flower called ‘heliotrope’ that has features almost opposite to that of a ‘bleeding
heart flower’ , heliotrope not only looks cheerful and bright, but is also exchanged by lovers, as
it historically represents young love, being pure and honest, when in regard with the situation in
the love story itself, the external features of the flower along with the emotions that it causes a
person to feel like, bliss, forever love, looking forward to a new beginning and such, shows how
a person in a romantic story would have foreseen a future that can no longer be anticipated for
when faced with a dire situation

“Full of unconditional love like that of your regretful facade”

This sentence has been used in relation to the flower ‘heliotrope', where the person in the love
story has now reached to a clear point of realisation, that all the love they had once thought
would be unconditional, like that of a heliotrope, blooming brightly in the sun, has now
seemingly come to a withering end, like that of their deceitful love, now which would only end
in sorrow just as a bleeding heart in regret.

“Looking at you got me tears of blood dangling at my heart” in context to a romantic story,
where a lover has now realised that their love cannot be brought back, the deep sadness and pain
felt in their heart along with the soaking tears, is equivalent to how a red bleeding heart flower
has a red drop hanging at the bottom, that visually looks like a drop of blood and hence
represents a broken heart

“Someone must have thought that you were a romantic at heart,” when considering the flower
‘heliotrope' this shows how a lover in a romantic story would have viewed their significant other
in a situation unknown, knowing that nothing can now change, they drown in the sorrowful
hopes of a nostalgic future that they once had in their brain.

“But, I know that you are a poison at heart” in this sentence the word ‘poison’ not only talks
about how a bleeding heart flower is poisonous if consumed, but also talks about, how the person
who once was fully consumed in love, now views their significant other, knowing fully, what
was behind the curtained love that once was cheerful and calm, whilst representing that the
person who once was deeply in love, is now faced with a regretful settlement of sorrow and pain
in their heart, after the end of a forbidden love, when the love no longer has a way in the ‘lovers’
heart.
“Our love growing in the light shade found its daybreak.” this sentence talks about the inevitable
and complete detachment of the person from their romantic story, whilst also comparing it with
the growth of a bleeding heart flower, in contrary to a regular flower that grows well in abundant
sunlight and withers with none, the above sentence showcases how a bleeding heart flower
grows well in light shade, that is minimal amount of sun, while in most cases the flower when
faced with immense amount of sunlight, cause it to wither away, just like a romantic story that
was finding its way in the light shade, unfortunately ends up finding it's daybreak.

This explanation only represents my point of view and what I had felt while writing the poem,
but as a reader if you wish to change the meaning by looking at it from your point of view, feel
free to do so, as literature is something that is felt, thought and understood by one's own meaning
given to it , I hope you liked the poem

Thank you!!

Afraid to be frayed
Pain, the inability to fix things
Living in the ruins of the past
Soaking in the new tears of hatred,
On oneself to not be able to fix things
Living a life in dreams, with too many thoughts to count for,
Not letting yourself consume the desire of a lively life, not letting it come true
Running to the future with unthread thoughts and mindful dreams
Letting life become a condolence to oneself
Causing ruined actions by the depths of the untamed heart
Withering your soul upon the tortured over thoughts
Annihilating the bounds of the desired ties,
Those that have taken time
Letting the ones you love, let go far

The poem ‘afraid to be frayed’ written by the poet aahiinsvvr comes under the category of
Death's love note
And there I stood
Longing for you
Holding the urge to call you
With the flashes of memories, of you and me
Telling you I am there for you,
But you laid there silently
Six feet below the ground
And all I could do was hold you
On the ground

And there I stood

As death awaited me
Looking back at all the things I
Wanted to do,
But never did and never will
I strided towards death,
Hoping to forget this life and
Create a new one
Hoping that all my desires come true in the next one,
Letting myself know that it is okay to let go
