J & N 996 HB POLYURETHANE FINISH
This is a hard, tough, flexible and abrasion resistant, coating. This has outstanding resistance to
SCOPE broad range of corrosive atmosphere. It has excellent acid, alkali, solvent, water and salt solution
resistance when applied over suitable primer.
1- For all types of structures in fertilizers and chemical plants, paper & pulp plants, off-
platforms, petroleum refineries etc.
TYPICAL USES 2- For concrete structures to resist, corrosive chemicals like acid, alkali, salt solution etc.
3- For structures to resist the river water and sea water.
4- For painting of interior of tanks storing petroleum products and other chemicals.
TYPE Two pack, cold cured
COMPOSITION Acrylic-Aliphatic Polyisocyanate with weather resistant pigments.
COLOUR As per shade card or specified colour
FINISH Semi-glossy to egg shell
SURFACE PREPARATION Steel Surfaces - Degrease and blast clean to Sa 2 1/2 grade minimum

• Wash all tools after application with General Purpose Thinner or Mineral Turpentine.
• Use sand or earth to contain any paint spillage.

• Wear appropriate attire, especially gloves, eye protection and nose mask.
