Your organization wants to ensure that only authorized users can access the ESXi host remotely:
Which option in the "System Customization" menu will you use and why, please explain.
Answer:-
Option to select will be: - “ACCESS MANAGEMENT”
Why?
Because it allows you to configure user accounts, you will be able to create, delete, modify user
accounts and also apply passwords. You can assign roles to users, preventing unauthorized
access from performing operations.

Question 2. (Marks 2.5

Describe what happens when you select the "Reset System Configuration" option from the
menu.?

Answer:-
1) All custom configurations are wiped: - DNS, security settings, Network settings, IP
addresses are set to default.

2) VM ware ESXi retains default configurations: - User specific changes are lost,
custom user accounts and permissions are deleted

Why might enabling SSH temporarily be beneficial during troubleshooting, and what are the
potential security risks if left enabled?
Answer:-
Benefits:-
1) Advanced Trouble shooting:- SSH provides Access to EXSi allowing administrators to
run command on issues
2) Configuration repair:- enables us to modify and restore important files
3) Log Access:- you can inspect log files, that is crucial for finding errors

Security Risks:-
1) Unauthorized access:- user that is unauthorized can get control over EXSi host
