BASKETBALL (5V5 MEN)

General Guidelines:
-The team must be composed of not more than 12 players.
-Must have uniform (color coding) during the game day.
-Must have official coach and must register the team captain.
-Single Round Robin format.
-The Ranks 1 and 2 will automatically compete for Championship.

Teams:
-Each team has five players on the court at a time. 1 team for every group. Men category
only.
-All teams must arrive at the designated venue at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled
game time. This allows for proper warm-up, team discussions, and any necessary pre-game
preparations.
-If a team fails to arrive on time and is not present at the start of the game The team will be
marked as a default and the opposing team will automatically win the game by default.

Scoring:
-A field goal, worth 2 or 3 points depending on the distance from which the shot is taken.
- A free throw, worth 1 point, awarded after certain fouls.

Game Duration:
-A standard game consists of four quarters, each lasting 12 minutes (NBA) or 10 minutes
(FIBA and NCAA). Overtime may be played if the score is tied at the end of regulation.

Timeout:
-Each team is allowed a total of seven (7) timeouts in every game duration considering no
more than four (4) timeouts in the 4th or last quarter.

Winning the Game:


-The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. If the score is tied at the end of
regulation, overtime periods are played until a winner is determined.
BADMINTON (MEN & WOMEN)
General Guidelines:
-The team must be composed of not more than 10 players.
-Must have uniform (color coding) during the game day.
-Must have official coach and must register the team captain.
-Single Round Robin format.
-The Ranks 1 and 2 will automatically compete for Championship.

Team:
-10 players in each; 5 men and 5 women. 1 team for every group.
-All teams must arrive at the designated venue at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled
game time. This allows for proper warm-up, team discussions, and any necessary pre-game
preparations.
-If a team fails to arrive on time and is not present at the start of the game The team will be
marked as a default and the opposing team will automatically win the game by default.

Singles
Scoring System:
-Each game is played to 21 points, and the winning margin must be at least two points. If the
score reaches 20-20, the game continues until one player has two-point advantage.

Serving order:
-The server serves from the right-hand service court when their score is even and from the
left when their score is odd. The receiver stands in the diagonally opposite service court.

Faults:
-Faults can occur for various reasons, including failing to hit the shuttlecock over the net, the
shuttlecock landing out of bounds, or illegal contact with the shuttlecock (e.g., carrying,
double hit).

Winning the Match:


-The player who wins out of three games is declared the winner of the match.

Doubles
Scoring Systems:
-Each game is played to 21 points, and the winning margin must be at least two points. If the
score reaches 20-20, the game continues until one player has two-point advantage.

-Serving Order, Faults, and Winning the match is similar with the Single Match.
VOLLEYBALL (MEN & WOMEN)
General Guidelines:
-The team must be composed of not more than 12 players.
-Must have uniform (color coding) during the game day.
-Must have official coach and must register the team captain.
-Single Round Robin format.
-The Ranks 1 and 2 will automatically compete for Championship.

Teams:
-Each team has 12 players, six (6) players on the court at a time. 2 teams every group, 1 team
each for men and women category.
-All teams must arrive at the designated venue at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled
game time. This allows for proper warm-up, team discussions, and any necessary pre-game
preparations.
-If a team fails to arrive on time and is not present at the start of the game The team will be
marked as a default and the opposing team will automatically win the game by default.

Scoring:
-A point is scored every serve.
-Games are typically played to 25 points, and a team must win by at least 2 points advantage.
-If the match reaches a deciding set (e.g., the 5 th set in a best-of-5 match), the set is played to
15 points.

Fouls:
-Common fouls include touching the net, stepping over the center line, and double touching
the ball.

Timeouts:
-Each team is allowed two (2) number of timeouts, 30 seconds long, per set to strategize or
break momentum.

Winning the Match:


-The team that wins three out of five sets is declared the winner of the match.
CHESS
General Guidelines:
-The team must be composed of not more than 5 players.
-Must have uniform (color coding) during the game day.
-Must have official coach and must register the team captain.
-Single Round Robin format.
-The Ranks 1 and 2 will automatically compete for Championship.

Team:
-5 players each team, 1 team per group.
-All teams must arrive at the designated venue at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled
game time. This allows for proper warm-up, team discussions, and any necessary pre-game
preparations.
-If a team fails to arrive on time and is not present at the start of the game The team will be
marked as a default and the opposing team will automatically win the game by default.

Objective:
-The objective is to checkmate your opponent’s king. This means putting the king into a
position where it is under attack and cannot escape capture.

Capturing:
-A piece captures an opponent’s piece by moving to the square occupied by that piece,
removing it from the board.

Check and Checkmate:


-When a player’s king is under threat of capture, it is in check. The player must make a move
to remove the king from check. If the king cannot escape check, it is checkmate, and the
game is over.

Stalemate:
-If a player’s king is not in check but the player has n
o legal moves, the game is a stalemate, and it is a draw.

Time Control:
20 minutes is the time control for the entire game duration. If a plater’s time

General Guidelines:

General Rules:
-All participants must adhere to the tournament's schedule.
-Each team must have a maximum of 5 players.

Match Format
-Best of 3/5: Matches will be played in a best-of-3 or best-of-5 format, as specified in the
tournament details.

Hero Selection
-Draft Mode: Matches will utilize the draft mode with a ban-pick format.
-Bans: Each team will ban a set number of heroes (e.g., 2) before the match.
-Pick Order: Teams will alternate picks following the ban phase (e.g., Team A bans, Team B
bans, Team A picks, Team B picks).

In-Game Conduct
-Players must maintain good sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
-No harassment, hate speech, or toxicity will be tolerated. (pwede tp)
-Teams are expected to resolve any issues internally; external communication should be
directed to the tournament organizers.

Disconnections and Pauses


-Teams may pause the game for technical issues (max pause time: 5 minutes).
-If a player disconnects, they have 2 minutes to reconnect.
-If a player cannot reconnect within the time limit, the match continues 4v5 until they return.

Match Reporting
-The winning team must report the match result to the tournament organizers immediately
after the game.
-Screenshots of the final scoreboard are recommended as proof.

Scheduling and Rescheduling


-Teams must adhere to the scheduled match times.
-Any requests for rescheduling must be made to the organizers at least 24 hours in advance
and are subject to approval.

Final Notes
-Ensure all players read and understand these rules before participating.
-The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules as necessary, with prior notice to all
participants.
