Scene 1: Cinderella’s House
(Cinderella is cleaning the floor. Her stepmother and stepsisters are
sitting, enjoying tea.)
Stepmother: Cinderella! Hurry up and clean this room! I don’t want to see
a single speck of dust!
Cinderella: (smiling) Yes, Mother.
Anastasia: And don’t forget to iron my dress for the ball tonight!
Drizella: Yes! I want to look more beautiful than anyone else there
Cinderella: (sadly) A ball? May I go too?
Stepmother: (laughing cruelly) You? Go to the ball? Don’t dream too much!
Now get back to work!
(Cinderella lowers her head in sadness and exits the stage.)
Scene 2: Cinderella and Royal Servant 2
(Cinderella is crying in the garden. Suddenly, Royal Servant 2 appears.)
Royal Servant 2: Cinderella, why are you crying?
Cinderella: I want to go to the ball, but I don’t have a beautiful dress…
Royal Servant 2: Don’t worry, I will help you.
(Royal Servant 2 takes out a beautiful gown and hands it to Cinderella.)
Cinderella: Wow, this is so beautiful! But how will I get to the palace
Royal Servant 2: (smiles) A carriage is waiting for you outside. But
remember, before midnight, you must return! After that, everything will
disappear.
Cinderella: Alright, thank you so much!
Scene 3: The Royal Ball
(Cinderella enters the palace. Everyone is mesmerized. The Prince
approaches her.)
Prince: My lady, may I have this dance?
Cinderella: (smiling) Of course, Your Highness
(They dance. The stepmother and stepsisters are shocked to see
Cinderella, but they do not recognize her.)
Anastasia: Who is that girl?
Drizella: I don’t know, but she’s so beautiful!
(Suddenly, the clock strikes midnight.)
Cinderella: Oh no! I must go!
(Cinderella runs away, leaving behind one of her glass slippers.)
Scene 4: The Prince’s Search
(At the palace, the King speaks with the Prince.)
King: So, you want to marry the girl who left this glass slipper behind?
Prince: Yes, Father. I must find her!
Royal Servant 1: Your Highness, we have begun the search across the
kingdom!
Scene 5: A Happy Ending
(At Cinderella’s house. Royal Servant 1 carries the glass slipper.)
Royal Servant 1: Every lady must try on this shoe!
Anastasia: (forcing) I’ll go first!
(Anastasia tries, but it’s too small.)
Drizella: I’m sure it will fit me!
(Drizella tries, but it still doesn’t fit.)
Cinderella: May I try it on?
Stepmother: (angrily) That shoe could never be yours!
(Royal Servant 1 allows it. Cinderella tries the slipper, and it fits perfectly.)
Royal Servant 1: Your Highness! This is the girl we’ve been searching for!
(The Prince enters, sees Cinderella, and smiles.)
Prince: Finally, I’ve found you!
Cinderella: (smiling) Prince…
(They hold hands, then leave for the palace and live happily ever after.)
