ORDER:
The following Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government
Gazette -
NOTIFICATION.
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the
Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following
amendment to the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978.
2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force
on the 1st January 1996.
AMENDMENT.
In the said Rules, in rule 45, in sub-rule (1), in clause (c), after the
fifth proviso, the following proviso shall be added, namely :-
“Provided also that in respect of cases arising on or after the 1st
January 1996, the maximum limit of Death cum Retirement Gratuity
shall not exceed rupees three lakhs and fifty thousand”.
