platform to manage the activity of many sports and the
collection of the data of the students in the college.
 Providing web facility to the sport council and to publish the
achievements into the sports of the college in to the university

Sport Management System (SMS) revolve around enhancing the

Firstly, an SMS aims to streamline administrative tasks such as player
registration, match scheduling, and financial management. By
automating these processes, sports organizations can significantly
reduce the burden on administrative staff, minimize errors, and ensure
smoother day-to-day operations.
Sport Management System (SMS) is designed to provide
comprehensive insights through data analytics. The system's objective
is to collect, analyze, and present valuable data related to player
performance, team dynamics, and fan engagement. This data-driven
approach empowers sports organizations to make informed decisions,
improve strategic planning, optimize training programs, and
ultimately enhance the overall experience for players and fans alike.
In essence, the key objectives of a Sport Management System are to
optimize administrative workflows and leverage data for strategic
decision-making, thereby elevating the performance and engagement
levels within the sports ecosystem.
1. Understanding the function of the management
process.
2. Register the Data of students into College Sport
Council, which will helpful to the Sport Administration
and to keep track on the student progress,
scheduling and more.
3. Updating of upcoming Sports event competition into
the various level zones to the College students.
4. The admin can check the report Data of the sports
aspirants, Data storing can be easier.
5. Also this Web platform give the Basic information of
the Sports.

SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
SPECIFICATIONS

•Software: -

Every application needs the software in which it has to be


executed and a hardware the application is going to perform its
function. Some application cannot run on every platform and
some applications needs some specific requirement in the
software or in hardware to get operated. Let’s take an example
of the applications which cannot be run on every platform like
windows, android, Linux, etc. Applications made in visual basic,
visual code and visual studio is only supported for the windows,
one cannot access these applications from the mobile phones,
etc. So, here are some hardware and software specifications
which are mandatory for the application to get operated.

•User interface: -
▪ HTML has been used for developing the User Layout for
the system.
▪ CSS has been used for designing the web pages of the
system.

•Hardware: -
❖ Processor : - Intel Pentium IV or more

❖ Ram : - 512MB or more

❖ Cache : - 1MB

❖ Hard Disk : - 10GB recommended

▪ Client on internet: -Web Browser, Operating System (any).


▪ Web Server: Operating System (any).
▪ Database: - Microsoft Office Access.
▪ Scripting language: - HTML, CSS, Asp.NET.
▪ Software Required:- Visual Studio and More.

•Functional requirements: -

o Microsoft Access database has been used for storing the


data of the website.
o We have used HTML for server-side scripting so the
current version of HTML must be available on the server.
o HTML has been used for creating the layout of the web
application.
o CSS has been used for creating the designing of the
webpages.

DISADVANTAGES

 Advantages :-

1. The system also does the selection procedure


to the college level and the university level
competitions.
2. To the college level all the player are allowed
to play. Whereas to the university level, the
best players will be selected form the college
level list will be also saved and displayed in
the database.
3. Current system provides different access
levels of security.
4. Rich user interface is provided in order to
interact with application.
5. Reports are generated dynamically on a
periodic basis.
6. The system will be user friendly and easy to
use.

 Disadvantages :-

1. Lack of security.
2. The system does not provide category wise
classifications of products.
3. Inefficiency in querying details.
4. Periodic report generation takes lot of time.
5. Initial setup, Developing, Maintaining a sports
management website requires technical
expertise and ongoing maintenance.
