Student Requirements:
Students select a pathogen from the list below or select one off the list. They will then produce a wanted poster
with the given parameters.

Project Description/Abstract:
Make a wanted poster for one of the Bacteria listed above. Poster is to be on 8.5" x 11" paper. Include:
1. "photo" (electron micrograph or microscopic picture/diagram)
2. description – Is the pathogen living? Which kingdom does the organism belong to? List physical features, including size, shape, number of flagella/sides,
etc…
3. organism's m.o. (police jargon) (How the organism attacks and spreads)
4. most common victims to prey upon
5. hide out of the culprit (where it is most likely to be found)
6. most common injury done to victim
7. Is it considered armed and dangerous? rate the degree of damage caused
8. number of victims
9. most effective weapons against the pathogen
10. any other identifying characteristics (such as tattoos)
Procedure:
Students have one period in the library/media center to research their disease. Any additional time needed for research or production of the poster is to be done on their
own. You must have 3 references (not Wikipedia, google or ask jeeves)
