Concepts

The Present Perfect Simple and the Present Perfect Continuous are used to talk
about actions that connect the past and the present. However, they have different
focuses:

 Present Perfect Simple emphasizes the completion of an action or its result.


 Present Perfect Continuous emphasizes the duration or ongoing nature of an
action.
