A Bill to Cap the Cost of College Attendance to Make Higher Education Affordable

1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

2 SECTION 1. All state and private colleges or universities will follow a federal

3 mandated annual maximum cost of attendance at $30,000. Any

4 colleges or universities that do not follow this mandated pricing

5 will be subject to removal of their tax exempt status.

6 SECTION 2. "Cost of attendance" shall include tuition, room and board, and

7 other fees imposed on a student by the college.

8 SECTION 3. The Department of Education shall oversee the implementation of

9 this bill. The Internal Revenue Service will oversee penalty

10 enforcement.

11 SECTION 4. This legislation will take effect on January 1, 2025. All laws in

12 conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
A Bill to End Single Family Zoning

1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

2 SECTION 1. No residential zone may limit the number of housing units on a

3 plot of land.

4 SECTION 2. All municipalities must approve requests to add an additional

5 unit to any plot of land currently containing only one.

6 Municipalities are strongly encouraged to allow more than two

7 units on single plots as well.

8 SECTION 4. The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development

9 will oversee the implementation of this bill.

10 SECTION 5. This legislation will take effect on January 1, 2025. All laws in

11 conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
A Bill to Cease International Arm Sales

1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

2 SECTION 1. Private corporations and individuals may not sell weapons,

3 military technology, or military intelligence to any foreign

4 government or other foreign entity. The United States may still

5 still contract private corporations for goods or services on behalf of

6 international actors and foreign governments.

7 SECTION 2. Private corporations will be defined as for-profit,

8 non-governmental entities.

9 Military technology will be defined as any tool used for warfare

10 applications.

11 SECTION 3. The International Trade Administration and the Department of

12 Justice shall oversee the implementation of this legislation.

13 Violations of this law shall be prosecuted as treason in federal

14 court.

15 SECTION 4. This legislation will take effect immediately. All laws in conflict

16 with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.


A Bill to Rehabilitate the Public Criminal Defense System

1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

2 SECTION 1. Public defenders shall no longer be allowed to work

3 contemporaneously on more than 25 felony cases, or no more than

4 60 misdemeanor cases.

5 SECTION 2. In the event that a public defender is taking a hybrid of felony and

6 misdemeanor cases contemporaneously, the public defender shall

7 be limited to 40 cases in total, while taking on less than 15 felony

8 cases.

9 SECTION 3. The Department of Justice shall oversee the implementation of

10 this bill.

11 A) The DOJ shall be provided $2 billion to hire more public

12 defenders for local and state court systems.

13 B) The DOJ shall be provided $1 billion to retain public

14 defenders by increasing wages.

15 SECTION 4. This legislation will take effect on January 1, 2027. All laws in

16 conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
