Grievance Committee

M/s. XYZ Ltd. has formulated a Grievance Committee for its employees, advising the
officers from time to time to put in their best efforts, to examine the grievances submitted
by the workman in a better manner at different stages and redress the grievances
expeditiously. The managerial personnel attend to the genuine grievance of the workman
in a well-established manner and this procedure is followed at 3 levels for prompt action.

AIM & OBJECTIVE:

To provide the employees an easy & readily accessible for prompt disposal of their day-
to-day Grievances

NATURE OF GRIEVANCES:

Complaints affecting one or more individual workers in respect of their-wages, payment


of overtime wages, bonus, leave, increments seniority, work assignment, working
conditions, hours of employment, output of workman (work load), training and settlement
of terminal benefits.

DIFFERENT STAGES FOR REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES, PROVIDED FOR


UNDER COMPANY’S GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE

FIRST STAGE:

The aggrieved employee shall represent his/her grievance either the person or in writing
to the officer in their dept, which should be acknowledged a written reply should be sent
to the worker under the signature of the manager/HOD within 10 days.

SECOND STAGE :

If the employee is not satisfied, he may request the Manager/HOD to forward his/her
Grievance to the Grievance Committee. This consists of-

MANAGEMENT
REPRESENTATIVES

1. Production Head-Mr.
2. Sampling Head-Mr.
3. Store & Procurement Head-
4. HR & Admin Head-
WORKERS
REPRESNTATION

1. Production Dept.)
2. (Finishing Dept)
3. Sampling Dept)
4. (Store Dept.)
5. (Stitching Dept.)

The recommendation of the Grievance Committee shall be communicated to the


workman within 10 days. A copy of the minutes of the Grievance Committee meeting
may be supplied to the all representative of committee

THIRD STAGE

If the employee is not satisfied with the reply given by the Grievance Committee, he can
represent the matter to the higher authority. i.e.

M.D/Director/CEO
The representation will be disposed of within 15 days.

(All the officers are requested to put in their best efforts to examine and redress the
genuine grievance submitted by the workman at different stages expeditiously.)
