The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) in
Hyderabad, India, through its Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship (CIA),
offers various programs to support agripreneurs and startups in the agriculture
sector. International participants residing outside India are welcome to apply for
these programs. Below is a detailed guide on the application procedure and steps to
attend a training program at MANAGE:

1. Identify the Appropriate Program:
MANAGE-CIA offers several programs tailored to different stages of agribusiness
development. For international participants, the Pre-Incubation Mentoring
Program is particularly relevant. This 22-day capacity-building training is
designed for aspiring agripreneurs and startups, comprising 30-hour sessions over
15 days, followed by one-on-one mentoring for a week. The program fee is $60 for

2. Application Process:
Online Application: Visit the MANAGE-CIA official website and navigate
to the Pre-Incubation Mentoring Program section. Look for the application
form link and complete it with the required details.

Documentation: Prepare necessary documents, which may include your
resume, a statement of purpose, and any relevant certificates or transcripts.
Submission: Submit the completed application form along with the required
documents before the specified deadline.
3. Await Confirmation:
After reviewing applications, MANAGE-CIA will notify selected candidates via
email. This communication will include details about the program schedule,
curriculum, and any preparatory work required.
4. Visa Application:
Upon receiving the acceptance letter, international participants should apply for an
appropriate visa to attend the training in India.
Visa Type: For short-term training programs, a Conference Visa or Short-
term Student Visa is typically appropriate.
Application Process:
o Documentation: Gather necessary documents, including the
acceptance letter from MANAGE-CIA, a valid passport, recent
photographs, proof of residence, and any other documents specified
by the Indian embassy or consulate in your country.
o Submission: Complete the visa application form available on the
official website of the Indian embassy or consulate in your country.
Submit the form along with the required documents and applicable
fees.
o Interview: Some applicants may be required to attend a visa
interview.
Processing Time: Visa processing times can vary, so it's advisable to apply
well in advance to ensure timely approval.
5. Travel Arrangements:
Once the visa is granted, make travel arrangements to Hyderabad, India. Ensure
you arrive before the commencement of the program to acclimate and settle in.
6. Accommodation:
MANAGE-CIA may offer on-campus accommodation or can assist in finding
nearby lodging options. It's recommended to inquire about housing facilities during
the application process or upon acceptance into the program.
7. Participation in the Program:

Pre-Incubation Mentoring Program
MANAGE- Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship (CIA) is a Centre of Excellence in
Agribusiness Incubation hosted at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension
Management (MANAGE). It is one of the leading Agribusiness Incubators in India with
incubated 310 and mentored 503 Agripreneurs & startups from various focus areas of
the Agri & Allied Sectors.Having trained start-ups from agro-processing, post-harvest
technologies, value addition, farm mechanization, animal husbandry, fisheries, dairy,
commodity trading to supply chain management and Agri-Consultancy, the Centre has
assisted and provided relentless support to Agripreneurs, helping them fine tune their
ideas and upscale their operations.
With each graduating cohort, it came to the center’s notice that though there are
enthusiastic budding Agripreneurs willing to invest time and money, yet they lack apt
mentoring platforms to sharpen/refine their ideas & provide necessary connectivity &
guidance on various aspects of agribusiness. This gap was acting as a big chasm for
people with business ideas to venture any further into the Agri-ecosystem.
Taking cognizance of this gap and recounting all experiences/feedback from previous
five cohort’s MANAGE-CIA decided to come up with a one of its kind Pre-Incubation
training programs to assist anyone with a business idea interested to work in Agri-
ecosystem, to guide them in idea generation, understanding the Agri startup ecosystem
and setting up the business. With the boom in the Agri-tech sector and more and more
agricultural professionals getting into entrepreneurship, foundation programs like pre-
incubation programs will help to set them on the right path.
The program is a 22 Day capacity building training program for aspiring Agripreneurs &
Startups. The program consists of 30-hour sessions spread across 15 days followed by
one-on-one hand holding sessions for a week. It’s one of its kind paid programs with
applicant fees at ₹ 2500/-.. The program works to enable Agripreneurs to move from
idea to MVP Stage while developing a sound understanding of the business, the skills,
challenges, and opportunities.

MANAGE-CIA Organizing an online 22-Day Mentoring Program (Pre-Incubation Program) for
aspiring Agripreneurs and Startups to guide them in idea generation, understanding the Agri
startup ecosystem and setting up their business.
The program enables the Agripreneurs to move from idea to Minimum Viable Product (MVP
Stage) while developing a sound understanding of the business, skills, challenges, and
opportunities.
Applications for the Seventh Batch are open now. Interested Participants are requested to
register themselves. Kindly note, program fee cannot be refunded after the start of the program.
The program fee for Indian Participants is ₹ 5000/- (Rupees Five thousand only). for
International Participants is USD $60 (Sixty US Dollar)
