 This paper consists of two sections
 Attempt all questions in section A and at least 3 questions in section B.
 Marks for each question is as indicated

SECTION A
Answer all the questions

1. Identify and list three essential drawing materials commonly used in technical drawing. (2 marks)

2. Explain the purpose of a T-square in technical drawing. (2 marks)

3. Sketch a freehand diagram of a triangle, rectangle, and circle. Label each shape. (3 marks)

4. Describe the difference between first-angle and third-angle orthographic projection. (2 marks)

5. Draw a parallelogram and label its sides. Use appropriate line thickness for outlines. (3 marks)

6. Explain the function of masking tape in maintaining the quality of technical drawings. (2 marks)

7. Identify three types of lines used in technical drawing and explain their meanings. (3 marks)

8. Construct a 45° angle using a protractor or compass. Show construction lines. (3 marks)

9. List three common symbols used in engineering drawings and briefly state their meanings. (2
