Equal Treatment: Admins must treat all players equally. Favoritism or biased
behavior will not be tolerated.
Respectful Communication: Admins are expected to communicate respectfully with
players at all times. Rudeness, insults, and toxic behavior will lead to
disciplinary action.
Conflict Resolution: If conflicts arise between players, admins should mediate and
help resolve them in a fair and unbiased manner.
2. Player Interaction
No Abuse of Power: Admins are not allowed to use their powers for personal gain or
to harass other players. Abusing admin privileges, such as giving yourself items,
teleporting to others for no reason, or using game-breaking commands, is strictly
prohibited.
Player Privacy: Admins should respect player privacy. Do not look through players’
chests, inventories, or builds without permission, unless there is a clear reason
related to server rules enforcement.
Griefing: Admins should never grief players, even if it is "just for fun." Any
destruction of player builds or malicious actions will not be tolerated.
3. Server Integrity
Cheating/Exploits: Admins should not use cheats, hacks, or any kind of exploits to
gain unfair advantages. Admins must be role models and follow the server’s rules.
Plugins and Mods: Admins are expected to monitor the performance and stability of
the server's plugins and mods. Do not make changes to the server without consulting
the community or other admins when necessary.
Server Issues: Report any server performance issues or bugs to the team and work
together to fix them as quickly as possible.
4. Building and World Management
World Editing: Use world-editing tools responsibly. Avoid overuse or making
significant changes that could impact the gameplay experience for others.
World Border & Protected Areas: Admins should ensure that world borders and
protected zones are respected. Don't build outside the defined boundaries unless
special permission has been granted.
Building Restrictions: Admins should not allow any builds that are inappropriate,
offensive, or violate server guidelines.
5. In-Game Events and Commands
Admin Commands: Admin commands (like teleporting, changing time, or giving items)
should only be used when necessary and in a way that benefits the server or
resolves issues.
Events and Announcements: Admins are responsible for organizing server events and
keeping players informed. Use the server’s communication channels (chat,
announcements) to notify players about important events, updates, or downtime.
PvP & Economy: Admins must monitor PvP activity and the server economy to ensure
that they are fair and balanced. Any player-created issues (like scams or unfair
PvP tactics) should be handled swiftly.
6. Server Policies
Rule Enforcement: Admins should enforce all server rules consistently. If players
break the rules, handle them according to the severity of the violation, escalating
if necessary.
Warnings and Punishments: Admins have the right to issue warnings, mutes, kicks,
and bans in accordance with the severity of a player's actions. Always issue a
warning first when possible.
Appeals Process: Players should be allowed to appeal bans or punishments. Admins
are responsible for reviewing and resolving appeals fairly.
7. External Communication
Public Relations: Admins should maintain a professional and friendly relationship
with players outside of the game, whether through the server’s Discord, forums, or
social media.
Transparency: Be transparent about major server decisions and changes. Keep the
community in the loop with updates, rule changes, and server status.
8. Privacy and Security
Sensitive Information: Do not share personal or private information about players,
staff, or the server without consent.
Account Security: Admins should use strong, unique passwords for server accounts
and ensure their accounts are secure at all times. If you suspect someone has
gained unauthorized access to your admin account, report it immediately.
9. Server Backups & Maintenance
Regular Backups: Admins are responsible for ensuring that regular backups of the
server are made. Server data should be stored securely to avoid data loss.
Scheduled Maintenance: Schedule downtime or maintenance times in advance, informing
the players as early as possible.
10. Overall Conduct
Setting the Example: Admins are role models for the community. Your behavior, both
in-game and in communication, should reflect the server’s core values of respect,
fun, and fairness.
Feedback: Admins are encouraged to receive feedback from players. If something is
not working well or needs improvement, admins should be open to hearing suggestions
and addressing concerns.
