LACE PATTERN
(Multiple of 12 sts + 1)
Rows 1–4: Knit.
Rows 5, 7, 9, and 11 (RS): K1, * [k2tog] twice, [yo,
k1] 3 times, yo, [SSK] twice, k1, rep from * across.
Rows 6, 8, 10, and 12 (WS): Purl.
Rows 13–16: Knit.
These 16 rows form Lace Pattern.

CAPELET
Cast on 325 (349, 373) sts. Do not join. Knit 1 row
on WS. Work even in Lace Pattern for 16 rows, end
on WS.
Joining Rnd: Knit across, place marker and join for
working in the round. Work in St st (knit EVERY rnd)
Dec Rnd 2: [K2tog, k10 (9, 8)] 11 (15, 11) times,
until piece measures 6 (7, 8)" from beginning.
then [k2 tog, k11 (10, 9)] 13 (13, 21) times – 277
Dec Rnd 1: [K11 (10, 9) k2tog] 11 (15, 11) times,
(293, 309) sts. Knit 11 rounds.

Dec Rnd 5: [K7 (6, 5), k2tog] 11 (15, 11) times, then
[k8 (7, 6), k2tog] 13 (13, 21) times – 205 (209, 213)
sts. Knit 11 rounds.
Dec Rnd 6: [K2tog, k6 (5, 4)] 11 (15, 11) times, then
[k2tog, k7 (6, 5] 13 (13, 21) times – 181 sts. Knit
until piece measures 16 (17, 18)" from beginning.
Collar: Next Row (RS): P181, remove marker and
turn. From here you will be working back and forth
again. (Collar will be reversed so that it folds back
with RS showing). Knit 1 row, purl 1 row. Work
even in Lace Pat for 16 rows, end on WS. Bind off.

FINISHING
Sew edges of Lace Pattern at lower edge together.
Weave in all ends and block as desired.
