"When I was in fifth grade, I was determined to achieve the Outstanding Student
Award, and I set that as my main goal for the year. My ambition drove me to put in
extra effort, stay focused, and consistently perform at my best. By the end of the
year, I had achieved this goal, which not only boosted my confidence but also
reinforced the importance of dedication and hard work in accomplishing significant
milestones."

2. How do you handle interruptions when they occur in your learning or working
process?

"I handle interruptions by communicating with my parents about the key aspects of
my work or studies. This ensures they understand my priorities and allow me the
space to focus without disruptions. By discussing my needs and goals with them, I
create a learning environment where I can stay concentrated and make the most of
my time."

3. You’ve almost overcome communication difficulties and can now work comfortably
in groups. What strategies did you use to improve in this area?

"To overcome my communication difficulties, I’ve consistently discussed ways to

improve my language skills with my parents, who have offered valuable guidance.
Additionally, I’ve dedicated time to learning from others’ communication styles,
observing how they interact and express themselves. This combination of active
learning and practical observation has significantly enhanced my ability to
communicate effectively, and I now feel more comfortable working in groups."

4. How do you balance your ambition and determination with the need for rest and
relaxation?

"After intensive study sessions, I ensure I take time to relax by engaging in football
games. This activity not only allows me to decompress but also helps me maintain
my physical fitness. It provides a perfect balance between mental focus and physical
relaxation, which enhances my overall productivity and well-being."

Academic & Technological Aspirations

5. What specifically interests you the most about technological development?

"I have a strong interest in technology, particularly in programming languages like

Python and HTML. I’m quite fluent in these languages, which is evident from the
projects I’ve worked on. For instance, I document all my code on paper as a way of
organizing and reflecting on my work and you can also see my website on my
 computer. This process not only reinforces my understanding of the languages but
also deepens my appreciation for the practical applications of technology."

6. You aspire to study at an Ivy League school. What aspects of their programs or
learning environments appeal to you the most?

"I deeply admire the high quality of teaching at Ivy League schools, where the
standards are set much higher than at other institutions. The professors are not only
experts in their fields but also foster a challenging yet supportive learning
environment. Additionally, I find Brighton as the ideal place to further develop my
technological skills, as its programs provide both the resources and the atmosphere
necessary for growth and innovation."

7. If you were to create a technological project that impacts your local community,
what kind of problem would you want to solve first?

"I would focus on enhancing the educational skills of my community. My project

would involve creating an interactive platform that provides accessible learning
resources, tutorials, and tools to help individuals at all levels improve their academic
performance. By using technology to bridge gaps in education, I believe I can
contribute to a more informed and empowered community."

8. How do you plan to build a strong foundation for technological development while
studying at Brighton College?

"I plan to build a strong foundation in technological development by actively seeking

out clubs and extracurricular activities related to technology, such as a Tech Club. If
I’m accepted into Brighton College, I would definitely consider starting or joining such
a club to collaborate with like-minded peers and gain hands-on experience in the
field."

Art & Music Talents

9. You have a talent for portrait and landscape art using acrylic and oil pastels. What
inspires your artwork the most?

"My inspiration comes from a variety of sources, often starting with online research.
For landscapes, I draw from the scenery of my hometown, capturing elements like
the houses and bamboo trees, which I find meaningful and familiar. For portraits, I
typically look up images of famous figures and replicate them, focusing on capturing
their likeness and expressions as accurately as possible. This process allows me to
practice different techniques while also adding my personal touch to each piece."

10. Do you see any connections between your artistic skills and your interest in
technology?

"While technology and art seem quite different, both fields require creativity and
problem-solving skills in their own ways. In art, creativity is key for expressing ideas
and overcoming challenges, while in technology, intelligence and the ability to
 remember and apply complex codes are essential. Though the approaches may
differ, both disciplines require a strong foundation of thinking critically and innovating
in unique ways."

11. You play the piano as an occasional activity. Has music influenced your mindset
or approach to learning in any way?

"Melody has a profound impact on my learning, as it helps enhance my emotional

awareness. It allows me to express my feelings more effectively and encourages
versatility in how I approach different challenges. This emotional depth not only
influences my art and music but also helps me approach learning with a more open
and adaptable mindset."

12. Have you ever combined technology with your artistic skills, such as digital
painting or music production?

"I occasionally combine my artistic skills with technology, especially in my work on

websites. For example, on one section of my site, I used a color palette of blue and
yellow, which reflects my understanding of art principles. My foundation in art allows
me to apply color theory and design elements, even in a digital format, to enhance
the overall aesthetic of my projects."

13. You’ve participated in a wide range of competitions and won many medals. Which
achievement are you the proudest of, and why?

"I’m particularly proud of winning gold medals in art and English, as well as a silver
medal in math. These achievements have greatly boosted my confidence and
reinforced my belief in my abilities. They’ve not only validated my hard work but have
also motivated me to continue pushing myself to achieve even greater success."

14. What have you learned from participating in high-level competitions that you
wouldn’t have learned in a regular school environment?

"Participating in high-level competitions has taught me the importance of resilience

and the ability to excel across different subjects, such as English, math, and art.
These experiences have pushed me to adapt quickly, manage my time effectively,
and approach challenges from multiple perspectives, skills that go beyond what I
would typically encounter in a regular school environment."

"I believe that competitions are valuable experiences rather than something to stress
over. I approach them with a calm mindset, focusing on doing my best rather than
worrying about the outcome. This perspective helps me manage pressure effectively,
allowing me to stay focused, learn from the experience, and improve for the future."

 "I prepare for competitions by dedicating significant time to practice, focusing on the
specific content that will be tested. I believe my ability to anticipate the key elements
of the competition allows me to tailor my preparation effectively. By consistently
reviewing and refining my skills, I ensure that I'm not only prepared for the expected
material but also ready to adapt to any challenges that may arise."

17. You want to create a technological project with a strong impact. Have you already
started working on any ideas or prototypes?

"Currently, I’m working on a technological project that focuses on football equipment.

I’ve created a website that sells various football items. While it may not have had a
significant impact on my community yet, it marks an important milestone in my
career. It’s the first step toward applying technology in the sports industry, and I’m
excited about its potential for future growth and innovation."

18. What do you think is the most pressing technological issue that needs to be
addressed today?

"I believe the most pressing technological issue today is the widespread
implementation of artificial intelligence. As AI becomes increasingly pervasive,
especially in developed countries, it has the potential to replace many jobs
traditionally held by humans. This shift could create significant challenges for workers
and economies, making it crucial to address how we can integrate AI in a way that
benefits society while minimizing negative impacts on employment."

"Although it’s difficult to predict precisely, I believe I will have a significant impact on

computing and programming languages, which I am actively learning, will enable me
