ABOUT IITM

Education, Government of India for the 6th consecutive time.

With the rising entrepreneurial trends across the globe, students at

ABOUT E-CELL
Entrepreneurship Cell at IIT Madras believes that entrepreneurship is
not only about starting companies, but also about building a pathway
towards the world’s socioeconomic development. E-Cell enables
students and faculty to solve global challenges, nurture them, and
provide them with opportunities for excellence. It also aims to unlock
students’ latent inventive potential. Not only do we show them the doors
of opportunity, but we also equip them to walk through it. Through our
conferences, social events, lectures, speaker engagements, and
workshops, we hope to build a network of entrepreneurial enthusiasts.
ABOUT E-SUMMIT
With entrepreneurship continuously gaining a strong foothold as a
future option for students and in the last 8 years of E-Summit, we have
come a long way, with more start-ups emerging and establishing a
golden age for entrepreneurship. E-Summit, IIT Madras’ annual flagship
event, focuses on young entrepreneurs and their ventures and is an
entrepreneurial extravaganza filled with an insane amount of energy and
enthusiasm. There is something for everyone to gain and learn, from
complete entrepreneurship newbies to start-up founders. With more
than 50 speakers, 200+ founders, 50+ VCs, investors and incubators,
and over 5000 attendees, E-Summit is truly one of the nest learning
opportunities for attendees and other stakeholders.

E-SUMMIT 2025
After the grand success of our summit in 2024, E-Summit 2025 will return
bigger and better. Our goal is to take the prime conclaves: Youth Conclave,
Innovator’s Conclave, Start-Up Conclave, and Startup Essentials to new
heights with a variety of initiatives planned throughout the year.
E-Summit 2025, themed "Decade of Dynamism,"—celebrating a decade of
empowering entrepreneurs, fostering innovation, and shaping the future of the
startup ecosystem. Scheduled for February-March 2025, this event aims to
foster innovation and self-reliance, enabling budding entrepreneurs to
navigate challenges effectively. The entrepreneurial fest seeks to nurture the
potential of young minds, enabling them to contribute significantly to India's
dynamic entrepreneurial landscape and create impactful ventures.
We are set to begin our Inspirit lecture series, wherein we have previously
hosted several distinguished entrepreneurs, including Anand Srinivasan (Co-
founder and Chief Information Officer of Akasa Airlines), Shanti Mohan
(Founder and Co-CEO of LetsVenture), Radhika Ghai (Founder of Kindlife and
Co-founder of ShopClues) and Abhinandan Sekhri (Co-founder of
Newslaundry),),among many others.
YOUTH CONCLAVE
Youth Conclave (YC) is an engaging convergence of competitive
and networking events that help an individual unlock their latent
potential and skills in business and entrepreneurship.
INNOVATOR’S CONCLAVE
To nurture start-up culture and challenge entrepreneurial
mindsets through a plethora of pan India B-plan and
comprehensive case study events.
START-UP CONCLAVE
Startup Conclave provides a platform for founders, investors, and
startup enthusiasts to experience extreme networking, gather
insights and knowledge on various significant topics, and meet the
