Nisha: Our BSO online training session was
held on Saturday, 26th June having the
theme, “Teen Titans”. And this session was
conducted by our all time favourite, George
sir.

Neil: George sir, even after being called and

asked to speak at so many di erent
schools and other venues, still managed to
make time for us BSO, to help some
important values that would help us lead
along this year.

Sreya: Apart from being energised by some

of George sir’s word games we picked up a
lot of points during this session and
listened to many of George sir’s inspiring
stories. The content of our BSO assembly
for today, is based on our learnings.

Misty: The theme of our assmebly is

rescript your inner script which refers to the
change one brings in themselves for the
betterment of their life. Life throws several
challenges at us, those who stay strong and
ght it, succeed and reach great heights in
fi
ff
life, whereas those who get burdened by
these challenges, take the wrong path. We
decide who we want to become and how
we want to construct our lives. Sometimes
not all problems are from outside, there
exist some within us, we must rescript
these issues to lead a happy and
successful life. Our inner script tells us who
we really are. Rescript your inner self,
change for better as a happy person will
bring happiness to others too.

Ashvin: Here are a few instances showing

how you could rescript your inner script.

*Instances*

Mum cooking - Aditya Gosh [realisng she’s

been
ignorant]

Not concentrating - Risa

Gaming but not studyin, parents working
hard - Muthanna

Ananya: Here are a few quotes for you to

understand our theme better:

Saima - “If better is possible, good is not

enough”

Mudra - Wayne Dyer once said “When you

change the way you look at thing, the
things you look at change”, Because when
you change the way you see the world and
when you search for only the good, then
your life transforms into the amazing
adventure it was designed to be

Sneha - “Dreams without discipline, will not

lead you to your destination”. Meaning that
you can dream big and the sky is the limit,
but you have to be willing to work as hard
as well.

Ganga - “You can change all things for the

better, when you change yourself for the
better”. This line focuses on rescripting
your inner script, indicating that once we
change for the better most things get
solved.

Sukriti - “To improve is to change, to be

perfect is to change often”. This means,
never settle for one thing, always strive for
the best.

Vaibhav: Here are some famous

personalities that have rescripted their
inner script

Amitesh - Oprah Gail Winfrey is an

American talk show host, television
producer, actress, author,
and philanthropist. She is known for her
talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, which
is the highest-rated television program of
its kind in history.
Winfrey has stated she was assaulted,
when she was only nine years old. When
Winfrey discussed about the alleged abuse
at age of 24, people reportedly refused to
believe her account. She did not give up but
stood up for herself and for her rights. She
had gone through bad times which led to
deep depression and caused her to

Nikhil - Oprah then became a millionaire at

the age of 32 when her talk show received
national syndication. Winfrey is the rst
African-American woman to own her own
production company. She was awarded the
Presidential Medal of Freedom by President
Barack Obama, and honorary doctorate
degrees from Duke and Harvard. She does
all that she can to eradicate child abuse. As
a victim herself, Winfrey knows the damage
abuse does to young lives, and she was a
major force in the drafting, lobbying and
passage of the National Child Protection
Act. The Act establishes a national registry
of child abusers to help employers and
those working with children to screen out
dangerous people. She also funds battered
women’s shelters and campaigns to catch
child abusers.
fi
Shivesh - Ashoka the grandson of
chandragupta maurya and son of Bindusara
succeded the throne after killing his 99
brothers.
After ascending the throne ashoka
expanded his empire through a series of
conquests.
During his reign, Kalinga was the only
kingdom which wasn't the part of the
mauryan empire,
so ashoka wanted to conquor kalinga.

Gaurav: In 261 bc askhoka attacked kalinga

and conquered it.
After the war was over ashoka could not
bear the bloodshed.
He could not see the destruction, his heart
pained at the loss of lives and gory scenes,
So he decided to stop waging wars and
became a bhuddist.
He rescripted his inner script and followed
the path of dhamma.

Divyanshee - One way of making it easier to

rescript your inner script is to follow the
three marks of authenticity:
- I have nothing to prove
- I have nothing to lose
- I have nothing to hide

Meher: We will now have a special song

performed by Lauren and Jabez with sreya,
Nisha, Nidhi, and Krisha grooving along
