SAMPLING PROCESS
Each group will be provided with a list of all the students in the class
they need to sample.
1. Assign each person in your allocated class a number.
2. Use a random number generator to identify 8 numbers. You will survey
these students.
3. Ask each of the 8 students to vote for their favorite lunch option.
4. Record the results in the table for your group, along with the total
number of students in the class.
DATA ANALYSIS
Once you have your data, you will determine each lunch option as a
percentage of the total number of students your group surveyed. You
can use the working space area.

You will present your data and ideas to the class as a group. Using your
findings, make inferences about which two lunch options should be
served at the Grade 7 party.
