On classroom environment:
1. Describe the physical environment of the classroom (e.g.. arrangement of the furniture,
placement of the teacher's table, cabinets, etc.)
- The physical environment or the classroom is wide enough for the students. It is not that too
small or big. Its size is just enough for students to walk around the room. The seats are well-
placed. The cabinets are at the back where students put all their stuff. The teacher's table is also
at the back near the door with a long table and a printer and papers at the top.
2. Describe the seating arrangement in the classroom. How does this influence the teaching and
learning process?
- They continue to set up the chairs in the traditional way, with six chairs in each row facing the
board. With this arrangement, it is easy for the teacher to look at their pupils and to identify if the
child is listening to the teacher or not.
3. What is the mood before the class begins? During the class? At the end of the class?
- In the beginning, the pupils are very noisy. Some pupils talk to their classmates, and some walk
around the room. When the class started, during the class, the teacher told them to settle down,
and the noise lessened. But they still kept on talking to one another even if the teacher had told
them to stay quiet. Some students just randomly stand up and roam around the room. At the end,
they are still very noisy and keep on talking to their classmates
4. What kind of rapport exists between teacher and student or between students?
- Between the student and teacher. The teacher is a bit strict with the pupils but also very caring.
During class hours, one of the pupils was crying and went directly to the teacher to seek comfort,
and the teacher quickly calmed down the crying child. Between the students, they are very
talkative to one another and very playful.
On the teacher's technique:
1. How does the teacher use the verbal and non-verbal communication?
- When it comes to communication, the teacher is very careful when talking to their pupil. Even
though the teacher is strict, they still find a way to talk in a manner where the pupils won't get
scared
2. How the teacher motivates the students?
-
3. What types of questions does the teacher ask during the discussion? To what extent that these
encourage students' engagement?
- The teacher didn't discuss anything, but they did their performance task. Where the teacher asks
one by one their pupils to go in front and recite the said task. They engage in doing the task so
that they'll receive a good grade or plus points for them
4. What skills for presentation/lecture, discussion, or other activities does the teacher utilize?
How such skill/s foster students' participation in the class?
-
5. How does the teacher utilize the classroom media?
-
On the students:
1. What the students are doing to contribute to the learning process?
-
2. Are the students active or passive?
- Since it was their performance task, the majority of the pupils stood up and recited it in front of
the class. However, some of the students refuse to recite it.
3. Map the conversation patterns. Who holds the 'conversation ball? Is it student-to-student,
student-to-teacher, the same students again and again?
- It is more on the student and the teacher, where the teacher is seated at the teacher's table and
calls one by one pupil to go in front of the class to recite or to recite it near the teacher's table
where the teacher is sitting.
4. Does the students' behaviour remain the same throughout the class period or it changes at
some points? How and when?
- During class hours, the pupil's behavior is still the same throughout the class period. They won't
stop talking to their classmate even if the teacher is already telling them to settle down
On the lesson.
1. Infer the objectives of the lesson.
- The given objective was to recite their topic, which is called "Mi byahe de sweno." Whether
they recite it in front of the class or to the teacher only
2. What teaching methodology does the teacher - use?
-
3. How does the teacher assess the learning of the students? If possible ask a sample of the
assessment tool from the teacher.
