What is Direct Method of teaching?
       Definition
The Direct Method is a way of teaching a foreign
language by using only the target language and
avoiding translation.
    Definition
The mantra of the Direct Method is
  "demonstrate, don't translate".
                 Direct Method
•   Was established in England around 1900.
•   Was adopted by the key language schools in 1970s.
•   Contrasts with the Grammar – Translation Method.
