Script for Acquaintance Party
Xander: A pleasant afternoon, Junior High School! May I request everyone to please settle in
your seats as we are about to begin our acquaintance party.
Mariel: To formally start, let us bow our heads and feel the presence of the Lord as we pray to
be led by Shamuel Samson from Grade 10-St. Paul that will be followed by the singing of the
national anthem to be conducted by Angel Pajota from (Grade & Section).
Xander: Ladies and gentlemen,
Both: Welcome to the acquaintance party 2024!
Mariel: Let us first introduce ourselves, I’m Mariel Juarez together with-
Xander: Xander Pensotes, and we will be your hosts from this afternoon onwards.
Mariel: For this year’s acquaintance party, our theme is “Books and Bows: Sweet Heavenly
Pastels”.
Xander: But before we go on with our first agenda, let me call on our SSG adviser, Teacher
Lilet Engalla.
Mariel: Thank you for that wonderful message, teacher Lilet. We also have our dear principal
Maam Raquel Tabaday to give her opening speech.
Xander: Thank you Maam Raquel for that opening message. And now, let’s kick things off with
one of our main events for tonight, THE DANCE OFF!
Mariel: Are you all ready, Perpetualites?
Xander: They surely are excited to watch what our performers have prepared, Mariel. But
before that, let us first read the mechanics and criteria of this competition.
After reading the mechanics:
Mariel: The mechanics and criteria are clear. Let us call on Kassandra Muyot from Grade 8 to
introduce our judges for this competition only.
After the introduction of judges:
Mariel: Thank you for introducing our judges, KC. With that, let’s have our first group of
performers from Grade 7!
After Grade 7:
Mariel: That was a great performance to start this dance off!
Xander: I agree, they gave us their most energetic performance. Up next, we’ll have our
Grade 8 students that are ready to show us what they’ve got.
After Grade 8:
Xander: Grade 8 really have creative minds in choreography.
Mariel: Yes and that’s what keeps us excited for their performances. Thank you grade 8, but I
know that our grade 9 students are also fighters when it comes to competitions.
Xander: Let’s not prolong this and let’s witness what our grade 9 performers have prepared.
After Grade 9:
Mariel: I really believe that our grade 9 won’t fail us and yet, they showed us their most
impactful performance, right Xander?
Xander: Of course, Mariel; I guess that’s what we love about our grade 9 students.
Mariel: Thank you for that performance, grade 9. Moving on, I know that we grade 10 students
are also competitive and a fighter in every competitions.
Xander: Do you agree, grade 10?
Mariel: Without further ado, let me call on our last performers coming from grade 10!
After Grade 10:
Xander: That was an epic performance, grade 10!
Mariel: I’m sure, the judges are having a hard time deciding on who deserves the title because
of our talented perpetualites.
Xander: Now, let’s sit back and watch as our Enigma Perpetualista showcase what they have
prepared. They are prohibited to join our dance off competition, so they will give us an
intermission number instead. Ladies and gentlemen, Enigma Perpetualista!
After Intermission Number:
Xander: That was a great performance coming from our own school renowned dance group.
Thank you, Enigma Perpetulista for that wonderful performance.
Mariel: Thank you also, Xander! That dance was really tiring and made me hungry, I’m sure
that everyone is excited for the main event which is dinner, am I right Junior high school?
Xander: They’re really hungry, Mariel. Let’s not make them wait and have their dinner. To be
organized, let our grade 7 students get their food first. They will be followed by grade 8, 9, and
10.
Mariel: Let’s wait for our turn and fall in line properly, guys. Dinner time is until 7:30 PM only
and the program will resume right after, thank you and happy eating, everyone.
After Dinner:
Xander: Finish your dinner and settle on your seats again as we are about to resume our
program.
Mariel: All right, welcome back to our program Junior high school! I hope that everyone had a
nice dinner as we move forward with our next competition which is the Mr. and Ms.
Participants will be selected by the judges’ based on their attire, beauty, and grace.
Xander: May I call on again Ms. Kassandra Muyot to introduce our new set of judges.
After the introduction of judges:
Xander: Are you all ready to witness our beautiful and handsome representatives from each
sections for the Mr. and Ms.?
Mariel: With that, let us give our floor to the representatives of each section!
After the Mr. and Ms:
Xander: We’re almost done with our program. As we finish our second competition, let’s watch
another surprise intermission number.
Mariel: Guys, do you have any idea on who you expect to perform this time?
Xander: I guess, we all don’t have an idea after all. Let’s end the wait and watch comfortably
in our places, the one and only (to be announced).
After the intermission number:
Xander: We all didn’t expect to have that performance tonight.
Mariel: We enjoyed it so much (Name of the performer) thank you and have a good night.
Now, we will know the decisions of the judges as we announce the winners for each
competitions.
Xander: First, let’s have our winners for the dance off competition.
After the announcement of winners from the dance off:
Mariel: Congratulations to all the winners. To those who didn’t win, remember that you all did
great with your performance.
Xander: Congratulations to all. Now, let’s move forward and announce the winners for the Mr.
and Ms.
After the announcement of winners from the Mr. and Ms:
Xander: Congratulations everyone, you all deserved to win. Thank you for joining and
showcasing your talents and abilities for each competitions, Junior high school.
Mariel: We really appreciate it and for those who didn’t join any competition, your presence
are really a big contribution to make this event a success.
Xander: With that, cheers and let’s have our party party!! You’re now allowed to go in front and
dance the night away!!
After the party party:
Mariel: Ladies and gentlemen, I know that some of you are still enjoying, but sadly, we need to
end this event.
Xander: To close our acquaintance party 2024, may we call on our academic coordinator for
her closing remarks.
After Teacher Belen:
Mariel: Thank you, Teacher Belen. Up next, let’s hear from our dear Principal, Maam Raquel
Tabaday.
Xander: Thank you, Maam Chie for that message and for letting us have this wonderful
experience.This is another memory that we will cherish forever.
Mariel: Moving on, may we call on our SSG Adviser, Teacher Lilet Engalla to give her last
message for this event.
After Teacher Lilet:
Xander: Thank you, Teacher Lilet for making that speech and for making this event possible.
