By registering for CB2KL you are agreeing to all rules listed below
Fees

Conduct/Reporting
• If you have something to say privately DM the commissioner
or Advisory Board, we are here to listen.
• No racist/hate speech towards any person is allowed at all. Bans will be enforced
where commissioners see fit.
• No explicit images or messages allowed
• No disrespectful talk of anyone's personal life/ Family. This is a 2k league
community, trash talk should be competitive and game related.
• Any violation of these rules will result in fines, suspensions, or bans per
commissioner's discretion.
• Any reports or disputes you have please DM the Commissioner or someone from
the Advisory Board and please provide any proof you have so we can settle the
matter.
• Any active rostered player who leaves the server will face a fine of $15 on the first
offense. Second offense will be a season ban Third offense will be a permanent ban.
Quitting your team has negative effects on players, GMs, and the league itself.
Please don’t waste anyone’s time.
• No Zen’s, game sharing, cheating, etc. This includes playing for multiple teams on
different accounts. If caught you will be subject to fines, suspensions, seasonal
bans, or permanent bans.
• It will be GMs responsibility to notify Board Members of any cheating. PLEASE
PROVIDE PROOF in the form of screenshots or saved streams. This includes
undocumented name changes, builds, etc. PLEASE BE SURE TO PROVIDE PROOF
BEFORE THE GAME ENDS. If you have the forfeit win, then please quit out. If this
results in a ban that interferes with games scheduled after, then it will be a free
reschedule.
GM Registration
• GM’s must complete the GM application in the GM application channel. If chosen, any
required registration fee must be paid before the first scheduled week of the season.
• Failure to pay the required entry fee will result in suspension from the season until the
requirements are met.
• GM’s must have an AGM for contact purposes.
• GMs can choose their own AGM inside or outside of the league, but they must be
registered. If your AGM quits after/during the first week then you must promote
someone within your team.
Player Registration
• ALL PLAYERS INCLUDING POTENTIAL GM’s MUST OPEN A TICKET THROUGH THE
REGISTRATION CHANNEL!
• There is 2 build limit MAX for players.
• If you are a free agent and only registered with one build you may add your second build
at any time. Please do so through the Add_Change Build channel and open a ticket.
• Free agents will be allowed to pay to switch builds after draft day.
• Please DM either the Commissioner or someone with the operations role to confirm
payment and new build.
• For eligibility players must complete 3 combines or 2 combines and a private workout.
2-3 PW’s will not be accepted. All box scores must be posted in your ticket channel.
• PROOF OF PAYMENT MUST ALSO BE SENT IN YOUR TICKET CHANNEL!
• Please be sure to follow and read the instructions when registering. If you are missing
information from your registration, you will be ineligible.
• Once your ticket is complete it will be closed, and you be given the role of a Free Agent.
• All combine games must be streamed by 1 player in the game and box scores from
game must be posted in the combine box score channel.
• Private workouts must be held in PRO-AM ONLY! The GM or AGM must be hosting the
private workout.
• Private workouts do not need to be streamed but box scores must be posted in the
combine box score channel for players joining after the draft.
• After 2 weeks if no box scores are posted in channel your ticket will be deleted and you
will have to re-register!
• NEFA and incoming players after draft day must have to provide proof of 3 private
workouts to become a FA
• Late Registration will only be open during the week the season begins. All NEFA and
incoming players will have to wait till the next season if registration is not completed
after the first league week.
Team Roster
• Teams found with more than 2 BYOT players on the team will be disbanded and BYOT
be subject to a season ban. The second and final offense will be a permanent ban. THIS
RULE DOES NOT AFFECT CB2KL OVN’s.
• GM’s have the choice of running any build. This is in place to provide full teams for
matchups if there is need.
• All players outside of GMs must have both builds listed on roster if applicable! Playing
on an unregistered build will result in a fine or suspension!
• GM’s must list their main 2 builds that they will be competing with.
• GMs and AGMs must adjust their roster with every trade, signing and release.
• Any player not matching the roster will be ineligible for gameplay. Any team found in
violation will forfeit that league game.
• Rostered players who only registered with one build and want to add a second must
pay the fee.
• Please do so through the Add_Change Build channel and open a ticket.
• All teams must have an AGM for better response time in scheduling, rulings, etc.
• GMs are allowed to choose their AGM.
• Teams cannot exceed 8 players on their roster at a time. The minimum amount a team
is allowed to have is 6.
• GMs and AGMs both take a roster spot. (Team of 8 with GM and AGM = 6 roster spots
left)
• IF FOUND INTENTIONALLY NOT PLAYING OR FORCE YOUR WAY OFF TEAM, SUSPENSION AND
FINE WILL BE ENFORCED
• Although players can use two builds, please list each player at his or her primary
position(s). The format for the above referenced message is as follows:

Please tag recruitment after every change to roster.
Waiver Wire/Trades/Free Agency
• All transactions must be confirmed by the Commissioner in consultation with the
Advisory Board.
• Final transactions will be posted under the transactions tab.
• Trades will clear immediately and will be done so in the GM chat. ALL TRANSACTIONS
ARE FINAL. However, if a trade goes through and a player quits on a new team, the
trade is VOID. So come to a mutual agreement that you are happy with.
• GMs must put a waiver claim for any Free Agent. The waiver wire has a priority rotation
like a fantasy league. It will be the reverse of the draft order.
• For the waiver wire teams will be in order. If team 1 and team 2 put in a claim at the
same time and in they are in the order of 1-10 then team 2 would fall to 10 and team 1
would be 9.
• Waiver wire order spots cannot be traded.
• If a claim is unsuccessful or unused your order on the wire does not change.
• A GM can put in multiple claims in order of priority. If the Gm’s first pick is already
claimed, then it would automatically go to the second pick and so on.
• GMs must tag the Commissioner in your team chat or dm them with the name of the
Free Agent you want to claim. If you have multiple claims list them in the order that you
want them. All waivers must be submitted on either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday
between the hours of 4pm – 4pm. Waivers clear after 24 hours.
• If a team releases a player, he or she will become a Free Agent.
• 2 PLAYERS MAX CAN BE RELEASED DURING THE WEEK ON EITHER MONDAY,
WEDNESDAY OR FRIDAY!
• GMs cannot waive a player until they have completed one full week. A league week is
from Monday to Sunday.
• Players can veto any trades so long as majority of the team agrees. (THE SQUAD RULE)
• No trade transactions can be made after the deadline! The deadline will be the end of
week 3!
• No transactions can be made during the playoffs, this includes releases. All teams are
locked! If a team has only 5 players during playoffs due to players leaving, they will be
given a special waiver wire to meet roster minimum.
Scheduling
• Matchups will be played 7pm–12am EST. They can start as early as 6pm but must be
completed by 12am. (Unless a new time is agreed upon by both GMs)
• All games must be locked in before 7pm EST. Times must be locked in the locked times
channel. If a game is not locked it, it does not count
• GMs, please try to give at least an hour's notice if your team cannot make the
scheduled time or may result in a forfeit.
• Each team is given 3 regular season reschedules and 1 during playoff runs.
• GMs can reschedule if they both agree to a new time. The new game must be posted In
the locked times channel.
• Reschedules are for another day not same day.
• GMs can also choose to play the locked in game the same day if it's past the locked
time if they agree to do so and it will not use a reschedule.
• There is a 15-minute grace period in the regular season and 20 minutes in the playoffs.
• The grace period starts from the locked in time.
• The forfeit clause can be exercised by the team with 5 in gym and stream up and posted
in the correct channel or provides a screenshot of 5 in gym with time stamp.
• Forfeits will only be worth a half win. This means they will not hold the same weight in
the standings and playoffs as a win from a completed matchup.
• The team that takes the forfeit will receive a full loss.
• If neither GM can agree to a new time due to a reschedule the result will be a tie.
• A tie is worth a half win half loss.
• NO DUCKING! If one person can’t play use your bench!
Matchup Rules
• If a player lags out within the first two minutes of the first quarter, the game must be
restarted without a loss.
• The team with lagged player must quit out and if a player receives a 2k ban it will result
in a free reschedule but must be with the same lineup.
• The team quitting out must do so within 1 minute!!
• If the player is lagged out after the first two minutes of the first quarter, the game will be
restarted, and a point spread will be enforced after the first two minutes of the first
quarter until the last two minutes of the fourth quarter
• If a player lags out after the 2-minute mark in the fourth quarter, the game must be
finished with a man down.
• For a restart to be enforced a screenshot must be provided of error code.
• For a point spread to be enforced a screenshot must be provided with score, time, and
quarter from the point of lag out. REMEMBER PROOF IS NEEDED!
• Only 2 restarts MAX will be allowed.
• Players cannot switch builds after disconnection/restart. If a player is found switching
builds the game will result in a forfeit.
• There cannot be a switch on the line up if there is a disconnection/restart. If there is a
switch in lineup the game will result in forfeit.
• All games must be streamed by one person from each team with the stream posted In
the appropriate channel.
• All streams must be saved in case of later reviews. Be sure to check your settings on
whichever stream site you are using!
• The winning team is responsible for posting the box score for the matchup.

Court Code
• Home jerseys must be mostly white or light grey.
• Away jerseys may be any color of your choosing/team colors but not white or light
grey.
• No overly bright courts.
• The league logo must be present on your court, it does not have to be the center
piece but the secondary/smaller logo.
• The league logo will be sent to GMs before the season starts so they can upload and
use it.
• Courts must have “CBL” on either sideline or baseline.
Playoffs/Championship
• 8 teams will make playoffs
• Playoffs will be Bo3, and championships will be Bo5
• Championship GM will be able to keep 1 player in lieu of a 1 st round draft pick.
• Each series will have 3 days to be completed. Extensions are understandable but will
be at the discretion of the board. Games must be completed in the time frame or
ties/ff will be given.
• Finals will begin immediately after with the time frame of 1 league week.
• A 20-minute grace period will be used during the playoffs.
• All regular season rules apply to playoffs
Award Minimums and Pot
• Each team will play 20 games
• A minimum of 10 games must be played to be eligible for awards.
• A minimum of 10 games must be played to be eligible for All-Star.
• Championship pot will be dispersed by the GM. The GM is allowed to divvy the pot their
judgement.
