I woke up with a startled expression on my lonesome face.
I looked around myself
struggling to remember what has happened. There was only darkness encompassing my
vision and reality.
Suddenly, my world was lit up for a brief moment by... lightning. Yet, it wasn't a
matter of celebration for the light only gave way to monstrous figures approaching
me. After the light was once again gone, a thundrous clap resounded in my ears.
I picked up my sword and closed my eyes.
'Seems like my sloth has landed me in trouble again. Let's hope I can slay these
Demons of Metal and Thunder before they fry my brain'
In the blink of an eye, I dissappeared from where I stood and was suddenly standing
in front of a harrowing creature. It had long and dioderly arms, if those limbs can
even be called that. On its body there were many lumps oozing different kinds of
vile liquids. Some lumps were flickering with electricity, creating a macabre and
eerie sight. The air around the abomination reeked of charred flesh making me
momentarily falter.
It was the infamous Nerstian Deria.
However, its reputation didn't manage to protect it from my sword which was now
embedded in its heart and glowing with a blue light.
"Pulsating Thrust"
The hideous pockmarked and gooey face of the Demon was suddenly contorting in pain,
and before it could even scream its life came to an end and its body exploded into
myriads of particles that were then absorbed by my sword making it stronger.
Unfortunately, this scene didn't take place into isolation and hence other Demons
were already breathing down my neck.
The first to attck me was was a hideous SHE. It possessed a power to control other
Demons through its immence vice. Other than that, it wasn't powerful enough to pose
a threat since its strength was so low that it was often used as an measure for
others.
It atttacked, or treid to attack me but failed miserably as a bolt of lightning
left my newly enchanted sword and zapped it into nihility. Soon it too became part
ofmy own powers.
During our breif confrontation, two evil demons had sneaked up behind me. They
looked similar in appearance and in their movements and yet there was somethiing
uncomfortably different in their fightting style. They both lashed out at me with
their pulsating tentacles but they only manaed to graze my cheek and yet the simple
touch burned my skin illiciting a grunt from me.
Despite my powers, I was stil only mortal. As we continued to clash I had to make
sure that the twins attacking me with synergy do not manage to even touch me. It
was tough as I had to constanly guard my back and legs from other Hell Spawns of
Galvain and Faraday Bugs. The coppery luster of Danialic Critters under the
lightnning filled sky painted quite a heavy image.
After multiple rounds of clahes, I was getting tired and yet I persevered through
the pain. My arms and legs were bleeding but I wasn't mortally wounded just yet.
"Damnation.. these bugs just keep on coming out of the ground. I guess I need to
finish this fast otherwise the forces under the command of SHEs would lave me in a
dire state. It's time to use _that_ move huh?"
I took a deep breath and suddenly all sounds of the battlefield disappeared and the
only thing left in the world were me and Hauser, my loyal sword. I chanted
ominously,
"Revealtions of Madness"
Suddenly I became aware of every demon on the blood soaked battlefield. I clamly
took my sword and slashed at the twin demons attacking me.
Two heads flew into the air and a fountain of blood was seen after a whistling
sound silenced the monsters.
All other enemies and even the storm had vanished as if they had always been
illusions, as they were indeed just that.
After all I was truly fighting the Twin Illusions, Electrolytas and
Electrocalamitas.
The world exploded in a cacaphony of coloured particles that were then absorbed my
sword.
I have won.
