Synergy is South India’s largest Technical Symposium
conducted by the Mechanical Engineering Association of NIT
Trichy.
It is a platform to connect upcoming mechanical engineers
and enthusiasts; enabling them to learn more through an
exchange of ideas and information.
Happening over a span of 3 days, Synergy showcases a myriad
of impressive events, workshops, guest lectures and
competitions, providing students with an opportunity to
foster their raw talents and satiate their curiosity.
Presently, Synergy boasts a footfall of over 2000, with
students from all over South India, particularly Tamilnadu
taking full advantage of the symposium.

The DC x Synergy SolidWorks Workshop offers a
comprehensive, hands-on training program designed to
equip participants with essential skills in computer-
aided design (CAD) using SolidWorks, a widely adopted
industry-standard software.
The workshop covers fundamental concepts of 2D
Sketching, Part Modelling and Features, Assembly and
introduction to simulation tools with Hands-on training
and live doubt clearance. This workshop is perfect for
engineering students and professionals seeking to
enhance their CAD design skills for various engineering
