Discipline
Participants must follow the trek leader's instructions and adhere to a
code of conduct that ensures safety and respect for fellow trekkers,
guides, and the environment. Any disruptive behavior that jeopardizes the
safety or enjoyment of others may result in immediate expulsion from
the trek without a refund.
Smoking and Drinking
Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited during
the trek. Violation of this policy may result in expulsion from the trek
without a refund.
Guidelines by the Volunteer
Participants must follow the instructions provided by the trek leader and
any accompanying volunteers. Failure to comply with these guidelines
may lead to disciplinary action.
Changes and Cancellations
Off The Map Travel reserves the right to alter the itinerary or cancel
the trek due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather or
other factors that may compromise the safety of participants.
Participants will be informed of any changes or cancellations as soon as
possible.
Health
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the
trek. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed to Off The
Map Travel prior to the trek. Off the map Travel is not responsible for
any health issues or injuries sustained during the trek.
Booking
All bookings must be made via WhatsApp. Payments will not be accepted
on the spot.
 Cancellation Policy

Pending Payment Policy

Complete any pending payments before the departure date.
Failure to make the second payment on time may lead to
cancellation of the booking, resulting in the loss of the advance
payment.
Boarding will be denied for non-payment, and the seat may be
reassigned.
For Weekend Backpacking Trips
30+ days before the trek: Full refund either as a Off The Map
Travel coupon or monetary refund, with a 15% cancellation fee.
20-30 days before the trek: 80% refund either as a Off The Map
Travel coupon or monetary refund, with a 50% cancellation fee.
Less than 20 days before the trek: No monetary refund; 20%
refund as a Off The Map Travel coupon if fully paid.
Ticket transfer: 20% surcharge, subject to organizer approval.
No-show or illness: No refund; participants must find a
replacement if needed.
Advance booking amount: Non-refundable.
Important Note: Trek insurance, train cancellation, and agent
charges are non-refundable if the trek is cancelled within 6 days
before departure.
 Cancellation Policy

If We Cancel a Trek
Natural calamities or unrest: No refund.
Before departure: Full refund, excluding train and bus cancellations.
Sahyadri treks: Option to shift the event or receive a full refund if
cancelled due to low participation.
Medical emergencies or COVID: Regular cancellation policy applies.
Transport issues: Alternate arrangements will be made with
participants bearing the costs.
Trip Delays and Connecting Transport Failures
Off The Map Travel will assist with alternative arrangements for
delays, but participants will be responsible for any associated costs.

The cancellation policy will apply from the time we receive your
email.
Refunds will be processed within 2-5 working days.
Cancellations are not accepted via phone or WhatsApp; email only.
Additional Costs
Any extra expenses arising from changes to the itinerary due to
natural calamities, train/bus delays or cancellations, roadblocks,
vehicle breakdowns, or other factors beyond the control of Off The
Map Travel and its associates will be borne by the participants.
