"On National Education Day, the SDG Council reaffirms its


commitment to quality education for all, fostering innovation and
inclusion."

Overview
On the occasion of National Education Day, the SDG Council BIAS will organize
multiple events to present a comprehensive overview of the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs).

Summary
Events Overview

Event Opening
OR Brief of Welcome speech and introduction to the National Education
National Policy and SDGs .
Education 
Policy(NLP). Talk on sustainable development in education with a brief Q&A
(30 MIN)

Round 1 (20 mins): General multiple-choice questions on SDGs (10


questions).

Round 2 (20 mins): Picture round—identify sustainable practices (5-7


QUIZ
images).
COMPETITION
(1 HOUR) Round 3 (20 mins): Buzzer round with rapid-fire SDG questions (10-15
questions).

Scoring (5 mins): Track scores and display them on a visible scoreboard.

Preliminary Round (50 mins): Teams debate pre-assigned topics, 6


minutes per team, with over 5 teams participating.
Final Round (25 mins): Top two teams debate on a surprise topic, 7
minutes per team.
Judging Criteria: Content (40%), Delivery (30%), Teamwork (10%),
Rebuttal (20%).
Closing Ceremony & Awards (5 mins): Winners announced, prizes

In this interactive activity, children will work in small groups to create
posters representing one of the 17 SDG goals. Each group will randomly

Games related to the 17 goals of sustainable development are as follows:

1. Bucket Water Game (1 Hours)(Clean Water And Sanitation)


1. Description:
In the Bucket Water Game, teams of 4-5 participants work together
to transfer water from a starting bucket to an ending bucket using
small containers like cups or sponges. This activity simulates the
challenges of accessing clean water and emphasizes the importance
of water conservation.
SDG Games Setup:
Participants will be divided into teams and provided with buckets,
(1 hour) smaller containers, and obstacles. The starting and ending lines will
be 10-20 meters apart.
Gameplay:
Teams have 2-3 minutes to transfer as much water as possible
without using their hands. The team with the most water in their
ending bucket wins.
