Dear Admissions Committee,

It has been a pleasure to have Filimon Teame Belay since September 19 ,2023 in my capacity as
English Teacher of Grade 11&12. Filimon is an exceptional student, and I have long been impressed
by both his academic and interpersonal skills. Throughout the couple of years that I have known
Filimon, his natural curiosity and desire for learning, his maturity and leadership, and his desire to
help classmates in my subject area have been remarkable.

Notably, in my English Language class, Filimon wrote some of the most insightful essays I have
read in my 13 years of teaching. I was blown away by his analytical skills and her ability to make
connections between different texts. His essay entitled Students should bring cell phones to
school_ an argumentative essay, was one of the most incredible pieces of student work that I have
ever had the joy to read.

Filimon’s personal strengths are also strong. He treats his peers and teachers with respect, and he is
one of the most compassionate and gracious students I have had in class. Filimon is a strong
applicant, and I know he will be the perfect addition to your academic institution.
