Speaking:
Q1: Whether family members should spend time together.
I suppose that family members should spend time together to strengthen family bonds.
Parents should listen to their children and offer them guidance, answer their questions and
explain assignments instructions. When parents understand their children better, they can
offer more opportunities for their kids to pursue their academic path. Moreover, family plays
a crucial role in our life because they expose us to the traditions, values and beliefs that can
provide a nurturing environment. They can support us to overcome ups and downs. Spending
time together will help reinforce our relationship with our beloved people as well as given a
sense of well-being.
Q2: Whether Vietnamese people have similar family value
I suppose that Vietnamese people have similar family value because our family expose us to
the traditions, values and beliefs that can provide a nurturing environment for personal
growth and development. Vietnamese culture is deeply rooted in Confucianism which
emphasizes respect for olders. Children will be taught how to be polite to adults such as
greeting or saying thank you. Moreover, children are expected to care for their aging parents,
with a strong sense of obligation to support them emotionally and financially. On many
special occasions such as New Year celebrations, we have a number of unique traditions like
worship our ancestors and so on. People who live apart try to gather with their family.
Everyone will be in festive mood.
