DIVINE MERCY

 The shrine was built in response to a vision received by


a local woman named Sister Leonila “Luningning”
Baltazar.
 In her vision, she was instructed to build a shrine
dedicated to the Divine Mercy, a devotion popularized
by St. Faustina Kowalska.
 Construction of the shrine began in 1998 on a 3-hectare
property in Bulacan.
 It has since grown into a major pilgrimage site,
attracting thousands of devotees annually.
 The shrine’s architecture is a blend of modern and
traditional Filipino styles.
 It features a large, iconic image of the Divine Mercy, a
prominent symbol of the devotion. 150 tall (45.72
meters)
 The shrine is a significant center for the Divine Mercy
devotion in the Philippines.
 It serves as a place of prayer, reflection, and spiritual
renewal for countless pilgrims.
