Summary

"You're so pretty Jaechan-ah.." Seoham suddenly said, himself slightly surprised by what he
just said.
"Hyung, what's with the sudden cheesiness?" Jaechan lightly laughed at the older's words
before coming to a stop seeing how the others looking at him.
a moment of silence...
"..I'm serious. Even at a distance you're pretty, but you're especially pretty when you're up
close like this."
"Hyung..."

Hi! this is my first fanfic I've written in a very very very long time, It's my first time writing
on this platform as I used to do it on Wattpad, I've also never wtitten this type of material
before but I wanna give it a try! Please Enjoy "At A Distance You Were Beautiful (And Also

"Come on hyung you need to get up." The younger male whined out at the older as he tried to
tug him out of bed by his arm.

"Just..Just give me five more minutes hm.?" The older male huffed out into the pillow that
his face was currently pushed into at an attempt to block out the sunlight that was coming
through the window the other had opened just a couple minutes before.

He expected this much from his boyfriend, but he wasn't about to give into his little antics,
especially today seeing as the other had a full schedule for the day that he very much couldn't
be late for, or he'd hear him complaining about it for the next few days whether it be over the
phone or when they're just hanging around his house, even Jaechan's dorms isn't safe.

"Yah Park Seoham, get up or I'm going to pour a bowl of water all over you." Jaechan says
still pulling on the others forearm trying to coax him out of bed.

The only response he gets is a muffled ,"No." from the man laying in the bed before he turns
on his side giving his back to Jaechan.

"Remember you're the one that didn't get up. I warned you"

All he gets is a wave of the hand shooing him away before he walks out of the others room
heading down the stairs to the kitchen. He searches through the cabinets look for a large
bowl, he finds one and then turns around to the sink before turning it on the water starting to
fill up the bowl with water, humming as it fills up.

"I better have my shoes ready to go..just in case" he mumbles turning off the water seeing the
bowl almost filled up to the top, setting it carefully on the counter. Jaechan head over to the
front door where his and his boyfriend's shoes rest on a shoe rack. He takes his shoes of the
rack setting them right in front of the door ready to be put on just incase he needs to get out
of the house quickly after what he's about to do.

Afterwards he walks back to the kitchen picking up the bowl slowly as to not make a mess of
water throughout the whole house. Walking slowly and carefully through the kitchen, up the
stairs and down the hallway to where the older is currently sleeping peacefully(not for long
though-)

As he ends up at the bed he whispers a quick "Sorry" before finally dumping the bowl of
water on his boyfriend who instantly sits up pushing his hair out of his face yelling out a
quick "What the fuck Jae????" pulling his soaked blankets off of himself standing up and
turning towards his younger boyfriend with a mixed look of pissed and also annoyed.

"Are you serious?? What the hell did you do that for??" He says running his hands over his
face to rub off the water dripping into his eyes and onto the floor. "You're seriously dead as
soon as I get my hands on you"
Jaechan puts the bowl down and slowly starts backing up towards the bedroom door keeping
his eyes on the other male in the room who's currently soaked and looking at him like he's
about to kill him if he doesn't go now.

"You didn't listen and get up when I said to and also I did technically warn you and well-"
The younger spews out if his mouth quickly before cutting himself off and running out the
door and down the stairs quickly as he hears Seoham yelling all sorts of profanities behind
him and telling him to come back

As Jaehyun reaches the front door he can hear his boyfriends steps behind him thudding
down the stairs so he starts slides into his shoes immediately before opening the door

"I'LL GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT NEXT TIME I COME OVER I PROMISE" He
yells out and then closes the door behind him quickly getting into his car driving off and
ignoring the sound of his phone ringing in the cup holder knowing its most likely his
boyfriend.

Soo..I literally had the whole chapter written out but my computer literally restarted and uhm
well the 2nd chapter is all gone. Therefore it'll be taking a bit longer for the second chapter to
be published :,)

Jaechan~

Jaechan was laying on his bed staring up on the ceiling as he exhaled a breath of air heavily.
He's been in a mood for the past week seeing as his schedule had suddenly become so
crowded and full that he didn't even have a chance to call or at least text Seoham seeing as
soon as he had any free time at all he'd be resting from all of his hectic group preparations for
their soon to be comeback and other things he had to get done.

The last time he had actually spoken to Seoham was the day at his house when..the water
incident happened and the last time they texted was the same day after Jaechan had reached
his dorm. He did feel bad for not messaging his boyfriend..he actually felt really bad as this is
the longest, they've went without talking since they started dating Mid-Semantic Error
shooting all those months ago. Jaechan slowly fades into sleep as he's thinking and his body
finally relaxing from the constant dance practice he's been doing.

Seoham~

He's currently sitting on his friend's couch surrounded by a few others as they are talking
about..honestly he doesn't really know what they are talking about as he's just been constantly
looking back and forth between his phone and his friends only catching little pieces of the
conversation. He's been like this for the past couple days, he'll deny waiting for a certain
someone's message or call that has yet to come, even at any photoshoots he has lined up and
he can't have his phone on him for, he keeps his ringer on max volume and withing a
reasonable distance whether it be on a table close by or just having his manager holding onto
it for him. He occasionally sends a message to his boyfriend like "Make sure to rest" or as
simple as a "I love you". Seoham's mood always lifts when he does get a reply from the other,
even if it does just come in a heart emoji most of the time. The older isn't upset with the short
replies and the lack of interaction, if anything, understands the sudden schedule fills, the
group promotions and everything that comes with being an idol as he did the exact same
things when he was in his own group especially when their comeback is near AND their
growing popularity since the show has started airing. All he can do is wait for Jaechan's
schedule to lighten up and then he can finally see his boyfriend again. Man, he misses his
boyfriend.

Jaechan~

Jaechan started to wake up as he felt someone shaking him awake and calling out his name,
his eyes slowly started opening as he tried to adjust to the sudden brightness of the bedroom
light and the direct sunlight currently coming through his window and hitting his face. As his
eyes finally open fully he takes in the figure above him and see's that its Munik..what does he
need?? "Jae wake up!" he says for the last time before seeing that his eyes are open.

"I'm up I'm up, do you need something??.." Jaechan replies.

"Our manager called and said our schedule for today is cancelled, so everyone said we
should go out for the day, and we wanted to know if you were down to do that too!"

"Finally! Oh my god. Uhm I'd love to go out and all but I'm pretty tired out still from the past
couple days and everything, so I think I'd rather just stay here and rest some more."

"Okay! Well, we'll be back later tonight around...10-ish since we were planning on maybe
seeing a movie after we're done looking through stores and stuff." Jaechan lets out a small
yawn as he listens to the other male speak.

"Alrighty, I'll be here just sleeping then, have a good time out mm?"

"We will, bye Jaechan see you later!" is the last thing Jaechan hears the other speak and the
footsteps fade to silence with the little click of his door closing.

-3 hours later-

Jaechan wakes up to the faint sound of a constant dinging, he sits up first checking the time
on the clock sitting on the nightstand to the right of him while stretching out and gets off his
bed, exiting his room to check out what the noise is. As he enters the living room, he can
recognize the sound of their doorbell being the sound he was hearing.

He walks over to the doorbell monitor and quickly walks, aka practically sprinted over, to the
door, opening it as fast as he could while also being careful as to not accidentally smack the
person on the other side of the door with it.

"He-" is all the other person is able to get out as Jaechan grabs their hand and pulls them into
the doorway forgetting to close the door behind them before engulfing the taller person
closely in a tight hug.

"I missed you hyung." Jaechan whispers, for some reason, into the chest he currently is
resting his face against.
 "Ah, I missed you too Jae" He hears the older male say into his hair as he feels Seoham rest
his chin on top of his head.

They stay there for a while before Seoham suggests going inside as to prevent anyone
possibly capturing a photo of them together and just because he knows if he doesn't say
anything they'll end up standing there for quite some time. After Seoham closes the door and
slips into the slippers laying to the side in the entrance Jaechan starts leading them past the
kitchen, then the living room eventually reaching the younger males room. Jae steps to the
side after opening his door to his room and walking in waiting for his boyfriend to enter
afterwards as to close the door. The older steps in and walks over to sit on the others bed.
Jaechan doesn't mind Seoham just sitting down as they've both hung out at each other's places
tons of time already, even before they were dating.

Jae walks over in front of Seoham before just falling forward and laying on top of the
other.The older doesn't seem to mind as he rests one hand on Jaechan's lower back and the
other softly petting his hair, soothing the younger. As much as Jaechan would love to ask
Seoham what's he doing here right now all he wants to do is lay down and sleep for a bit
more, feeling still a little tired so he decided to just ask when he wakes up.

"Sleep now, questions later 'm sleepy" is all he says before he gets up off the other, the older
nodding and following his movements.They both end up laying down on Jae's bed with the
younger's face pushed into Seoham's chest and his arms wrapped around his boyfriend while
Seoham rests his head on top of Jaechan's head and his arms tightly wrapped around his
younger boyfriends waist, their legs entangled with each other underneath the blanket.

AN; Due to circumstances I will end this chapter here and will take a little break to take in

Hey guys. I'm sure most of you have heard, yesterday it was revealed that Moonbin
from Astro has passed away..firstly condolences to his family, friends, and all my fellow
Aroha's. I was honestly so shocked at the news, I thought it was a joke at first bc
like..what? I honestly couldn't believe it, because just a couple of days ago he was
posting on tiktok. It's crazy how things took a turn. I've followed Astro's journey for
years so this just has affected me very much. Binnie you helped me through so many of
my struggles, you were one of those people where when I wasn't feeling well mentally
or had a tough day, I would go watch your videos, I'm so sad to hear that you're gone.
I'm so glad to have even known you as a fan and I really appreciate you and everything
you did, I'll miss your smile, your laugh and just everything about you. You had so much
life to live, you should have been able to grow older with your members, your sister,
everyone around you, you're really one that's gone too soon. You could have went so far,
you had such a bright path ahead of you. You'll always be such a big part of my life, of
course I wish you were still here but I hope you're in a better place wherever you are, we
will never forget you and I'll love you forever and always.
