REGIONAL DAILY WEATHER REPORT

SYNOPTIC METEOROLOGICAL FEATURE:

A cyclonic circulation lies over central parts of South Bay of Bengal & adjoining Equatorial Indian
Ocean and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.
Yesterday’s trough in easterlies from southeast Arabian sea to south Maharashtra coast at 0.9 km
above mean sea level has become less marked.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 0830 HRS IST:

Northeast Monsoon has been active over North Coastal Tamilnadu.
Rainfall occurred at many places over North Coastal Tamilnadu, at one or two places over rest
Tamilnadu and over Puducherry & Karaikal area. Dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Mahe,
Lakshadweep area, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema and Telangana.
