GOAL/ PURPOSE: The conduct of YOUTH CAMP 2024 aims to:
1. Maximize the Youth abilities for leadership and handle their
responsibilities in their own groups and community;
2. Develop life-long skills along with the different sessions such
as Leadership, Health and Nutrition, Mental Health
Awareness, Life skills, and etc.
3. Provide different avenues that will help the youth grow as a
responsible member of the community.
4. Instill value of having good relationship and camaraderie with
the group they are belong.

DESCRIPTION: This program aims to capacitate the youth to develop their full
potential as part and member of the community. The targeted population
consisted of 48 Youth, 8 SK Facilitators, 10 Barangay Council, 10, Barangay
Tanod from Barangay Tagpocol. Research indicated that community-based
activities play a key role in the lives of adolescents. The programs and
projects are being designed to successfully meet young people’s
developmental needs and help them become healthy, happy and
productive citizen and member of the society. Youth recalibration must be
done in order for the them to function well and meet their full potential.
To promote youth empowerment and the advocacy of this program,
the youth coordinator of Tagpocol Elementary school, Ms. Jonalyn N. Ragay
spearheaded the conduct of YOUTH CAMP 2024, wherein the participants

will have 3 days of live- in training. During the 3-day live-in training, there
are different and various activities that the youth will be participating in
such as sessions for mental health awareness, leadership, health and
nutrition, campfire, variety show, culminating activity and many more
activities that will surely enjoy by the participants. The participants will
also gain different skills, knowledge and values that will help them develop
their full potential. These skills are in preparation for them for the near
future. Through this program they will be able to showcase what they got
and develop the skills they need to develop to meet the challenging
demands of this generation.
