NDMA Met Projections (23rd to 28th August, 2024)

23rd Aug 24th Aug 25th Aug Punjab:
Thundershowers are expected intermittently during this
week in Potohar region, and northeastern areas. However,
isolated thunderstorms/ heavy falls are expected in
Jhelum, Mianwali, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Faisalabad,
Hafizabad, Gujrat, Sheikhupura, Narowal, Lahore,
Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan, and DG Khan
from 25th to 28 August.
Balochistan:
Humid weather is expected while tthundershowers and
isolated rainfalls are likely at different parts of the
province, including Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Kalat, Loralai,
Sibbi, Khuzdar, Panjgur, Turbat, Awaran, Pasni, and
Ormara from the 26th to 28th August.
Sindh:
Humid weather is expected while thundershower and
26th Aug 27th Aug 28th Aug rainfall/isolated heavy falls are expected intermittently in
most parts of the province, including Karachi,
Hyderabad, Thatta, Tharparkar, Badin, Umerkot,
Sukkur, Larkana, and Shikarpur, from the 25th to 28th
August.
KP:
Thunderstorms and isolated rainfall/heavy falls are
expected intermittently from the 25th to 28th August in
most parts of the province, including Chitral, Dir,
Charbagh, Malakand, Hazara, Swabi, Mardan, Peshawar,
Charsadda, Haripur, Mansehra, and Abbottabad.
GB & AJK:
Cloudy weather, along with chances of isolated rainfall, is
expected in various parts of the provinces from the 25th to
28th August. However, most parts of Kashmir will
experience isolated rainfall/heavy falls during this period.
