IV. INTRODUCTION
Teenage pregnancy remains a significant concern that affects young individuals
physically, emotionally, and socially. The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay
Canlapwas organized this program to raise awareness about teenage pregnancy, its
consequences, and prevention strategies. The activity aimed to educate the youth on
responsible decision-making, reproductive health, and available support systems.

V. OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the program were successfully met. Participants were educated on:

 The causes and effects of teenage pregnancy.


 The importance of reproductive health and responsible behavior.
 Available support systems for young individuals.
 Decision-making skills that promote a healthier future.

VI. SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES


The event featured the following activities:

 Opening Remarks - Delivered by the SK Chairperson.


 Discussion on Teenage Pregnancy - Experts provided insights on the causes,
effects, and prevention strategies.
 Reproductive Health Awareness Talk - Covered contraception, health risks,
and responsible decision-making.
 Interactive Forum (Q&A Session) – Participants engaged with experts to clarify
their concerns.
 Youth Pledge for Responsible Decision-Making - Encouraging accountability
and awareness.
 Awarding of Prizes and Incentives - Active participants were recognized.
 Closing Remarks - Expressing gratitude and reinforcing key messages.

VII. PARTICIPANTS
The event had a strong turnout with approximately 200 youth participants from
Barangay Canlapwas. The engagement level was high, with many actively participating

IV. INTRODUCTION
Mental health is a crucial aspect of overall well-being, yet it remains a topic that is often
overlooked. Many individuals, especially the youth, struggle with stress, anxiety, and
depression without access to the necessary support and resources. Through this Mental
Health Awareness Program, we aim to educate the youth on mental health issues,
coping strategies, and available support systems.

V. RATIONALE
The rising cases of mental health issues among the youth highlight the need for
awareness and education. Many young individuals experience emotional distress
without knowing where to seek help or how to manage their mental health.

This program seeks to:

 Provide knowledge about mental health and its importance.


 Teach effective coping mechanisms for stress and anxiety.
 Encourage open discussions and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental
health.
 Promote self-care through the distribution of hygiene kits.

VI. OBJECTIVES

 Educate youth about mental health, its impact, and how to seek help.
 Encourage self-care and emotional resilience.
 Promote awareness about available mental health services.
 Foster a safe space for discussions on mental health concerns.

VII. DESCRIPTION
The program will feature educational talks, interactive discussions, and self-care
activities led by mental health professionals. Activities will include:

 Closing Remarks - Expressing gratitude and reinforcing key messages.

VIII. TARGET PARTICIPANTS


This activity is open to all youth aged 15-30 from Barangay Canlapwas. We anticipate
approximately 200 participants.
