COLLECT: Words of relaxation spoken by someone

VENI, SANTE SPIRITUS

Come, Holy Spirit, and send from the sky a ray of your light.
Come, Father of the poor, come, dispenser of gifts, come, light of our hearts.
Sovereign comforter, very gentle host of our souls, soothing freshness.
In work, rest; in fever, freshness; in tears, comfort.
O blessed light, come and fill the hearts of all your faithful to the heart.
Without your divine power, there is nothing in any man, nothing that is not perverted.
Wash what is soiled, bathe what is arid, heal what is hurt.
Relax what is stiff, warm what is cold, straighten what is distorted.
To all who have faith and trust in you, give your seven sacred gifts.
Give merit and virtue, give final salvation, give eternal joy.
Amen

ACT OF CONTRITION
My God, I very much regret having offended you, because you are infinitely good and you
dislike sin. I take the firm resolution, with the help of your holy grace, not to offend you
anymore and to do penance.

1
PSALM 50: Confession of a Sinner
Have mercy on me, my God, in your love, according to your great mercy, erase my sin.
Cleanse me entirely of my fault, cleanse me of my offense.
Yes, I know my sin, my fault is always before me.
Against you, and you alone, I sinned, which is evil in your eyes, I did it. So you can speak and
show your justice, be a judge and show your victory.
I was born in the wrong; I was a sinner from my mother's womb.
But you want the truth deep inside me; in secret, you teach me wisdom.
Purify me with hyssop, and I will be pure; wash me and i'll be white, more than snow.
Let me hear the songs and the party: they will dance, the bones you crushed.
Turn your face away from my faults, take away all my sins.
Create in me a pure heart, O my God, renew and strengthen my spirit inside me.
Don't chase me away from your face, don't take away your holy spirit from me.
Give me back the joy of being saved; may the generous spirit support me.
To sinners, I will teach your ways; towards you will return the lost.
Free me from the shed blood, God, my Savior God, and my tongue will cheer your
righteousness.
Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will proclaim your praise.
If I offer a sacrifice, you don't want it, you don't accept a burnt offering.
The sacrifice that pleases God is a broken spirit; you do not reject, oh my God, a broken and
crushed heart.
Grant Zion happiness, raise the walls of Jerusalem.
Then you will accept just sacrifices, oblations and burnt offerings; then we will offer bulls on
your altar.

EASTER MORNING HYMN: The Lord is truly risen, hallelujah!

Light of the world, O Jesus, although we have never seen your grave open,
Where does this clarity come from, this feast day between feasts, if not you, risen?

When on our paths we are told: Where is your Christ today

And his miracle? We answer: Where does the Spirit bring us back to his Passover, on his way, if
not from him?

2
Our hearts are all burning when his love descends and whispers to us: Love come, the day will
come to the heart of all creatures; and the Lord will appear.
And if we are told: Now show us a shining sign outside of yourself!
The sign is that when he returns we must do what he loves to testify that he is love.

PRAISE AND INTERCESSION OF EASTER MORNING

R / Glory to you, Jesus, our life!
Let us cheer Jesus Christ: God raised him up, he will raise us up with him. R /
O Christ, radiant light shining in our darkness, you have sanctified our mortal condition
forever. R /
Lord, you who walked on the path of Calvary, you call us to follow you to die and to be
resurrected with you. R /
Son of the Father, our brother and our master, you make us a people of priests and kings. R /
Kings of glory, we await the bright day of your manifestation: then we will see you as you are,
and we will be like you. R /

PATER NOSTER
Pater Noster, qui es in caelis : sanctificetur nomen tuum ; adveniat regnum tuum ; fiat voluntas
tua, sicut in caelo, et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie ; et dimitte nobis
debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris ; et ne nos inducas in tentationem ;
sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

EASTER MORNING PRAYER

Today, God our Father, you open eternal life to us through the victory of your Son over death,
and we celebrate his resurrection. May your Spirit make us new men so that we may be raised
with Christ in the light of life. He who reigns for centuries of centuries. Amen

PRAYER TO THE VIRGIN MARY

Holy Mary, Mother of God, you gave the world true light, Jesus, your son - Son of God. You
have completely surrendered yourself to the call of God and thus you have become the source
of the goodness that springs from him. Show us Jesus. Guide us to him. Teach us to know and
love it, so that we too can become capable of true love and be sources of living water in the
midst of a thirsty world. Amen

SECOND PART
Resurrection song: hallelujah!!!
GOSPEL - MEDITATION AND SHARING
Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John
On the first day of the week, Marie Madeleine went to the tomb early in the morning; it was
still darkness. She realizes that the stone has been removed from the tomb. So she runs to find
Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and she says to them, "We have taken
the Lord from his tomb, and we do not know where he was deposited. So Peter left with the
other disciple to go to the tomb. They were both running together, but the other disciple ran
faster than Peter and was the first to reach the tomb. When leaning over, he notices that the
cloths are laid flat; however, he does not enter. Simon-Pierre, who followed him, arrives in
turn. He enters the tomb; he sees the linen, laid flat, as well as the shroud which had
surrounded the head of Jesus, not placed with the linen, but rolled apart in its place. It was
then that the other disciple entered, who had arrived first at the tomb. He saw, and he
believed. Until then, in fact, the disciples had not understood that, according to the Scriptures,
Jesus had to rise from the dead. - Let us acclaim the Word of God.

LIFE OF A SAINT HAVING EXEMPLIALLY EXERCISED CHARITY: Saint Martin de Tours

Martin was born in Pannonia, in central Europe, at the beginning of the 4th century. He spent
his childhood in Pavia, Italy, where his father was a military tribune. Although his family was
idolatrous, young Martin attended churches and showed a taste for piety exercises.
He followed the instructions of the catechumens, to obtain baptism, and, at the age of twelve,
he formulated the plan to retire in solitude. However, he had to obey an order from the
emperor, who compelled the children of officers to bear arms.
At fifteen, he therefore entered the cavalry, and was loved by his comrades-in-arms by his fine
qualities, his virtues and above all, his charity. In particular, during a harsh winter, he met an
almost naked beggar at the gates of Amiens.
As he had just distributed everything he had as alms, he then cut his coat in half and gave half
of it to this unfortunate man, and wrapped himself as best he could with the rest.
The following night he saw in a dream Jesus Christ, covered with the half he had given and
who was conversing with angels, saying: "Martin, who is still only a catechumen, covered me
with this garment”.

5
This vision increased his attraction to God, and he asked for the baptism which he received at
the age of eighteen. He then asked to take leave of the army, which an unexpected peace with
the Germans made possible.
He then retired to Saint Hilaire de Poitier, who gave him the minor orders. Martin then visited
his parents in Pannonia where he converted his mother and several other people. He also
fought against the Arians, who exiled him.
He then retired to Saint Hilaire de Poitier, who gave him the minor orders. Martin then visited
his parents in Pannonia where he converted his mother and several other people. He also
fought against the Arians, who exiled him.
He then returned to Saint Hilaire who gave him land to build a monastery there. Martin then
operated two miraculous resurrections, like Elisha, which added a new spark to the reputation
for holiness which he already enjoyed, so much so that the people and the clergy of Tours
succeeded in having him appointed bishop of their city.
He obtained Emperor Valentine I to overthrow several pagan temples and cut down several
trees that the idolaters regarded as sacred. He also performed many miracles, conversions,
and healings. We owe him, in particular, the healing of the sight of Saint Paulin de Nolle.
Martin also worked to obtain the leniency of the tyrant Maxime, who had condemned his
opponents to death. He continued until the end of his life to confirm, by many miracles, the
doctrine which he preached, and although having reached a great old age, he did not diminish
anything of his apostolic works, nor of his austerities.
He was almost ninety years old when, when he went to Condé, a parish at the end of his
diocese, to stifle a division that had arisen among the clergy of this church, he restored peace
there.
Preparing to return to Tours, he fell ill, and died on November 11, 400. Those who witnessed
his death saw his face radiant with glory.

PRAYER FOR THE GRACE OF A LIFE OF CHARITY: PSALM 144

I will exalt you, my God, my King, I will bless your name always and forever!
Every day I will bless you, I will praise your name forever and ever.
He is great, the Lord, highly praised; to his greatness, there is no limit.
From age to age, we will praise your works, we will proclaim your exploits.
I will repeat the story of your wonders, your brilliance, your glory and your splendor.

6
You will say your formidable strength; I will tell of your greatness.
We will remember your immense kindness; all will acclaim your justice.
The Lord is tenderness and pity, slow to anger and full of love;
the goodness of the Lord is for all, his tenderness, for all his works.
May your works, Lord, give you thanks and your faithful bless you!
They will speak of the glory of your reign, they will speak of your exploits,
announcing to men your exploits, the glory and the splendor of your reign:
your reign, an eternal reign, your empire, for the ages of the ages. The Lord is true in
everything he says, faithful in everything he does.
The Lord supports all those who fall, he straightens all the burdened.
Eyes on you all, they hope: you give them food at the right time;
you open your hand: you kindly satiate everything that lives.
The Lord is just in all his ways, faithful in everything he does.
He is close to those who invoke him, to all those who invoke him in truth.
It responds to the desire of those who fear it; he listens to their cry: he saves them.
The Lord will keep all who love him, but he will destroy all the wicked.
May my mouth proclaim the praises of the Lord! * His very holy name, may all flesh bless him
always and forever!

COVID-19 PROTECTIVE PRAYER

Our Father,
We trust that the Coronavirus will no longer do harm and that the epidemic be brought under
control quickly, that you restore health to those affected and peace in the places where it has
spread. Welcome those who have died from this disease, comfort their families; help and
protect the health workers who fight it, and inspire and bless those who work to control it.
Lord Jesus, doctor of our souls and our bodies, we feel helpless in this situation of
international health emergency but we trust you, give us our peace and your health.
O Mary, protect us, continue to take care of us and lead us with your love towards your Son
Jesus. Amen.

7
PSALM 90: PROTECTIVE PSALM
When I stand under the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shade of the Mighty,
I say to the Lord: "My refuge, my rampart, my God, of which I am sure! "
It is he who saves you from the hunter's nets and the evil plague; *
it covers and protects you. You find a refuge under his wing: his loyalty is armor, a shield.
You will not fear the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in broad daylight,
neither the plague lurking in the dark, nor the plague that strikes at noon.
Let a thousand fall by your side, + let ten thousand fall to your right, * you, you remain out of
reach.
Just open your eyes, you will see the salary of the bad guy.
Yes, the Lord is your refuge; you have made the Most High your fortress.
Misfortune cannot touch you, nor danger, approach your home:
he gives mission to his angels to keep you on all your paths.
They will carry you on their hands so that your foot does not hit the stones;
you will walk on the viper and the scorpion, you will crush the lion and the Dragon.
“Since he is attached to me, I deliver him; I defend him because he knows my name.
He calls me, and I answer him; I am with him in his ordeal. “I want to set him free, to glorify
him; +
for long days, I want to satiate him, * and I will make him see my salvation. "

(bis)

PRAYER FOR THE ELEVATION OF PERSONAL INTENTIONS TOWARDS THE LORD ...

PSALM 84
You loved, Lord, this land, you brought back the deportees from Jacob;
you have taken away the sin of your people, you have covered all their fault;
you have put an end to all your anger, you have returned from your great fury.
Bring us back, God, our salvation, forget your resentment against us.
Will you always be angry with us; will you maintain your anger from age to age?
Is it not you who will return to make us live and who will be the joy of your people?
Show us, Lord, your love, and give us your salvation.
I listen: what will the Lord God say? + What he says is peace for his people and his faithful; *
may they never return to their madness!
His salvation is near to those who fear him, and glory will dwell on our earth.
Love and truth meet, justice and peace embrace;
truth will sprout from the earth and from heaven will seek justice.
The Lord will give his blessings, and our earth will bear his fruit.
Justice will march before him, and his steps will trace the way. Song
