APPENDIX A
SCOPE OF WORK
A.Services
You are expected to offer a range of services of our Bank to promote both Local as well as
International Trade; Account opening; Correspondent Banking etc, including inter alia;
(a) to introduce and promote our Bank’s products to the potential customers, especially
in the territory assigned to you;
(b) arranging acceptable terms, and closing transactions between confirmed customers
and our Bank; specifically Trade finance instruments, (issuing letters of credit, factoring,
export credit and insurance, SBLC etc.;
(c) to open lines of communication for our Bank to promote business expansion
especially in the territory assigned to you, for example, by arranging meetings with potential
stakeholders;
(d) to promote our Bank by expanding its scope e.g opening new accounts for our
Customers; in the territory assigned to you or any other places to enable the clients to make
swift and easy transfer of funds; and
(e) to undertake other related activities to support sales of our Bank’s products.
B.Fees
As Consultant Fee’s (“Commission”), you shall be eligible to receive 7.5% of the charges
received by the Bank in respect of each transaction introduced/ facilitated/ referred to by
you (the “Commission”) or 6.5% as commission for deals given by the Bank which you
successfully close.The Commission may also be mutually negotiated and agreed in writing
between the yourself and the Bank on a case-to -case basis and be payable within
fourteen(14) days of the receipt of charges by the Bank.
C.Territory
You have been assigned to operate in the Territory of Mozambique. You may operate in
other parts of the world, with the written consent obtained from the Bank.
This is a Non- Exclusive assignment of Territory and there may be other Consultants of our
Bank operating in the same territory. You are required to maintain ethical business
practices and not infringe on Clients already being serviced by other Consultants in your
territory.
