9.1.1 Installation of Main Unit Table 2

When installing any options at the same time, refer to the following for more efficient servicing. No. Name Qty

1. Remove the packaging materials and packaging tapes from the DADF and the packaging tapes 1 Toner Cartridge (APO/GCO only) 1
from the Main Unit.
2. Check the Bundled Items 3. When installing the 1 Tray Module, 1 Tray Module with Cabinet, and 3 Tray Module (hereafter 3TM)
Main Unit - Bundled Items at the same time, they have to be assembled into one before being installed to the Main Unit.
(1) Main Unit (The assembly task is to be performed by the mover) For Desk Top Type, proceed to Step 13.
(2) INST USERS MANUAL PACKAGING (Tray 1 - Bundled Items) 4. Remove the Connector Cover of the Main Unit.
(1) Remove the Connector Cover. (Figure 1)

5. Connect the various Tray Modules connectors. (Figure 2)
(1) Connect the connector.
CAUTION
After the installation, remove the manual package from the Tray, pass it to the customer, and
advise them to not keep it in the Tray.

6. Remove Tray 1. 10. Install the Docking Bracket. (Figure 5)

7. Install the Docking Screw (x2). (Figure 3) (1) Install the Docking Bracket.
(1) Tighten the Docking Screw (x2). (2) Tighten the screw.

8. Reinstall the Connector Cover and that was removed in Step 4 and Tray 1 that was removed in Step 11. Reinstall the Tray Rear Cover that was removed in Step 9.
6. 12. [For 1 Tray Module or 1 Tray Module + Caster Board]
9. [For 1 Tray Module with Cabinet and 3 Tray Module] Install the Docking Bracket. (Figure 6)
Remove the Tray Rear Cover. (Figure 4) (1) Install the Docking Bracket.
(1) Remove the screw (x4). (2) Tighten the screw.
(2) Remove the Tray Rear Cover.
