Introduction

Travel and Tourism Management System is a computerized system used to


manage the operations related to travelling, booking, sightseeing, and arranging
accommodation. The system is designed to help travelers to get the idea about
the places they are going to visit, the quality of amenities and services, and the
attractions at their destination.

It also provides payment and security features to ensure a safe and secure
transaction. The system helps travelers to plan their travel more efficiently and
effectively.

Travel and Tourism Management System development using PHP program


has lots of codes, Using Internet in gathering information partially contributed
to the success of this project. Due to the fact that PHP is an open-source
program, development of Travel and Tourism management system will not be
too difficult. Time can be saved and don’t need any special maintenance.
Information once stored can be deleted as well as viewed by the admin.

Objectives
The objective of the Travel and Tourism Management System project is
to develop a system that:
 Automate travel-related processes and activities.
 Allow customization of travel itineraries.
 Assist businesses in managing inventory (e.g., hotel rooms, restaurants).
 Support communication between travelers and service providers.
 Offer reporting and analytics for data-driven insights.
 Collect reviews and feedback from users.

Technologies Used:
 Frontend:
o HTML: Used for structuring the content on the website.
o CSS: Applied for styling the website, ensuring a visually
appealing and user-friendly design.
oJavaScript: Implemented for adding interactive elements,
such as search functionality and the shopping cart system.
 Backend:
o Php, mysql
o Server: wamp server
