Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate Finance

DEPARTMENT: REPORTS TO:


Corporate Finance Head of Department

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE


Team member of Corporate Finance, perform all Financial Planning & Analysis functions, review
investment propositions and overview of assigned Business Divisional performance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
A) Operational

• Analyze data and create financial models for decision support


• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular management reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for
improvements
• Work closely with the finance team of business verticals to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis;
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports,
tools, and Dashboards
• Improve productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and business valuations, perform
industry comparison, peer reviews, create Benchmark and KPI’s as applicable to various
businesses
• Perform Business/ Equity valuation for M&A / Exit probabilities

B) Desired Skills
• Proficiency in other Microsoft office tools viz., Office, Power point etc.,
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency
• High degree of Accountability, Integrity & Responsibility in all tasks assigned.
• Advanced level of Excel knowledge - managing large data, use of vertical lookups, pivot tables,
Macros & creation of reports.
• Strong Analytical skills, detail-oriented; placing a great value on accuracy
• Excellent communication & presentation skills

REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications : Qualified finance professionals with CA/CFA/ CMA/ACCA/CPA
Experience : Minimum 5-year professional experience in Accounts / Finance
Industry Exposure : Preferably from Corporate Finance background
