                        Ukrainian
                          cuisine
Ukrainian cuisine impresses with its
diversity and variety of tastes. The main
ingredients of Ukrainian dishes are
grains, vegetables, meat and dairy
products. Borscht, dumplings, cabbage
rolls, sausage, lard, kulish are just a few
examples of what is characteristic of
Ukrainian cuisine. Traditionally, dishes
are prepared in simple but tasty ways,
and great attention is paid to using
seasonal and fresh products. Ukrainian
cuisine is not only a part of cultural
heritage, but also an important aspect
of national self-determination.
               Of course, when
             Ukrainian cuisine is
             mentioned, the first

        Kyiv
       cutlet
My favorite dish in Ukrainian
cuisine is the Kyiv cutlet. According
to legend, this dish appeared in
cooking thanks to chef Vladimir
Shevra, who worked at the "Kyiv"
restaurant. To make the dish
special, he made a cutlet of beef, in
the middle of which butter and
herbs were hidden. This is how the
Kyiv-style cutlet was born - a meat
envelope for a creamy "surprise".
                    Varenyki is a
                      traditional
                  Ukrainian dish
               made from dough
              and various fillings.
Varenyki are an integral part of
Ukrainian cooking and are often served at
festive and family events. Here is a short
recipe for Ukrainian dumplings
Ingredients:
Dough: flour, eggs, water, salt.
Filling: potatoes, cheese, cherries, cheese
or others to taste.
Varenyki is not only tasty, but also a
traditional dish that reflects the cultural
spirit of Ukraine.
Thank you for attention.
