                          PART A
       SINGLE LAMP CONTROLLED BY THREE POINT METHOD
1.0RATIONAL.
       Three way control: A lamp can be controlled from three different locations. The
       circuit needs an intermediate switch along with two number 2-way switches.
       Intermediate switch has two states namely straight and cross-connection. Each of the
       switches simply supplies two outputs from one voltage source for one end and one
       output from two voltage sources at the other end. The lamp ties to the one wire in the
       middle at either end of the lamp. The neutral is switched As is the hot, but each switch
       reverses them so a complete circuit through the lamp only happens if an odd number
       of switches is in the ON position. These are called One Pole, Double Throw switches
       as opposed to a standard lamp switch that is One Pole, Single Throw. Three-way
       switching or (Four-way circuits in the US) connection is used to control electrical
       appliances and equipment like fan, lighting points etc. from more than two places.
       The most common applications of this configuration is staircase wiring, hallway &
       corridor wiring, hostel wiring, hospital wiring, tunnel wiring, godown wiring etc.
       where a light bulb is controlled from two, three or even more places for ON and OFF
       operations.
2.0 LITERATURE REVIEW.
 01. The aim of these micro project is to study the single lamp controlled by three point
     method.
 02. We also study the importance of single lamp controlled by three point method.
 03. As there are so many advantages and disadvantages of single lamp controlled by three
     point method.
 04. We also get know that to experience the different lamps controlled by three point
     method.
3.0 PROPOSED METHODOLOGY.
 01.   We collected the information about given topic on various sites on internet.
 02.   We discussed about different types of controlling method.
 03.   We all discuss what to make a model and then prepare a report.
 04.   Then we make a report on the micro project.
 05.   We all submit the micro project with model and report.

• ADVANTAGES OF SINGLE LAMP CONTROLLED BY THREE POINT
METHOD.
1. The ability to control a single device from three separate location.
2. Easy to operate.
• DISADVANTAGES OF SINGLE LAMP CONTROLLED BY THREE POINT
METHOD.
  1.At present such three- way switching circuits use exclusively mechanical switches, with
their inherent disadvantages.
  2. In particular arcing which is liable to lead to serious deterioration of the electrical
contacts and generate noise.
• WIRING DIAGRAM.
 The wiring diagram shows how to control a light point from three different places by using
three way switches and an intermediate switch.
   The following wiring diagram shows how to control a light bulb from three different places
using two 2-way (or 3-way) switches and an intermediate switch or 4-way switch.Three-way
