Overview
Definition and Purpose
Udyam Registration is a government registration provided with a
01 recognition certificate and a unique number to certify small or
medium businesses or enterprises.
Announced as of July 01, 2020, replacing Udyog Aadhaar.

Provides a 16 digit Unique Identification Number (UID) by the
03 Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME),
Government of India.

Criteria
Investment and Turnover Limits Re-classification
Micro Business Investments up to Rs 1 crore and turnover of Enterprises will be classified based on the given investment and
less than Rs 5 crore. turnover limits.

Small Business: Investments up to Rs 10 crore and turnover of
