III. BACKGROUND Zum Gali Gali is a traditional song of Israel. Having the perfect melody of the
song, students are expected to perform with confidence and with appropriate pitch,
rhythm, expression and style.
IV. TASK AND
PURPOSE 1. The presentation of the Zum Gali Gali is by group.
2. Each group will memorize and practice “Zum Gali Gali” song and create
body gestures/movements as part of the presentation.

I. TITLE MandalArt: Creating Symbols of Balance and Harmony
II. TIME FRAME February 13-14, 2025
III. BACKGROUND A mandala is a geometric design that represents the universe, wholeness, and
balance. It often features intricate patterns arranged in a circular shape,
symbolizing harmony and unity. Mandalas are commonly used in spiritual and
meditative practices, especially in Hinduism and Buddhism.
In art, mandalas can be created using various materials and styles, often as a form
of self-expression or relaxation. They are also used in educational settings to
enhance creativity and focus.
IV. TASK AND 1. The students will form groups of three.
PURPOSE 2. Each group will create a mandala design on an 8x10 canvas using any
preferred medium (colored pencils, markers, paints, or mixed media).
3. Before starting, they will research the meaning and symbolism of
mandalas to incorporate meaningful elements into their design.
4. They will sketch their design on paper first, ensuring symmetry and
balance in their mandala.
5. Once satisfied with their sketch, they will transfer the design onto the
canvas and begin coloring or painting.
6. The final artwork will be presented in class, where students will share
their creative process and the meaning behind their designs.
V. COMPETENCIES Performance Standard:
The learner creates artworks showing the characteristic elements of the arts of
South and Central Asia and exhibit completed artworks for appreciation and
critiquing.

1. Identify characteristics of arts and crafts in specific countries in South and

III. BACKGROUND The topic this quarter focuses on different sets of activities that help you develop
the required skills in playing chess. It enables the students to understand the basic
principles and concepts behind the game. After performing all the required tasks
in this topic, it is expected that the students gained knowledge on the essentials of
chess and its deeper value as a recreational activity to promote good family
relationship.
IV. TASK AND
PURPOSE 1. The mini chess tournament is single elimination game.
2. The intermediate and advance player in each group can assist and coach
his/her team mates.
3. Players will use timer in order to monitor the length of the game.
4. Winners per group will move to the level, semi-finals and final game.

infections, be familiar with the leading causes of mortality and morbidity,
understand well common communicable diseases, its signs and symptoms, causes
and how to prevent and control the diseases.
IV. TASK AND 1. The students will make a creative scrapbook showing their daily actions to
