(b). Using Christian teachings, discuss TWO characteristics of the members of God's family.
Ans: God gave us many characteristics as members of his family. One being love and the act of
obeying. As said in John 13:34-35, the members of God’s family are supposed to love one
another as God loves them. Love is shown through acts of kindness, care, and compassion. In
order to love God, we must obey him. Our obedience to His commandments shows our
devotion to him (John 14:15) and following God’s teachings whiles living righteously reflects our
relationship with Him. Another characteristic is our ability to forgive and care for others. As
Christians we are taught to forgive others just as God forgives them. We must care for the
needy, help those in distress and show compassion to all, by supporting one another, we
demonstrate our faith and commitment to God’s family.
(ii) Using biblical references, explain what it means to be created in God's image and

Ans: In the beginning of Genesis, specifically Genesis 1:27, it is written, "So God created man in
his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.". This
verse represents our spiritual aspects which reflect God’s nature, meaning we can worship, pray,
and build a relationship with God. Wherein human have a soul that lives eternally, unlike
animals. We were also created for relationships and community which reflects God’s love.
Humans can form meaningful connections with others. This explanation ties in with 1 John 4:16,
which states, "God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him."
