• Scene 1: (30s)

- Scene of Mariano Gomez as a child, playing with another child. He saw a couple of
Filipinos with chain in their hands and neck. These Filipinos looks like slave, with a body
that bones are appeared. Mariano Gomez, keeps on looking on these Filipinos until they
are reach out of sight by Mariano Gomez
- Scene of Gomez, studying at the seminary. While in the seminary, he saw abuses of the
a Filipino. One friar scolding a Filipino seminarian. This seminarian was holding a broom,
as it if was he was cleaning somethings, and this friar was angry for some reasons.
- Scene of Fr. Gomez, with clothes of a priest talking and helping other people beside on
his parish
- Scene of Fr. Gomez saying his Mass, do counseling to the people, cultivating
agricultural farms, and planning on straightening the roads.

• Scene 2: (10s)
• While walking to his parish, he saw a man, his hands tied up. One of the Spanish guard
pointed his gun towards the man, the other one, punching him, making the man fell on
his feet. The other Spanish Guard now kicking him while lying the ground. After that,
one of the Spanish Guard with a gun, spitted on him.

• Scene 3: (10s)
As he reach to the church, with all distress in thinking about how to help his fellow
countrymen, he is thinking a plan, to help the Filipinos make stand against the Spanish
Colonizers
Fr. Gomez: “Ano kaya ang pwede kong gawin para matulungan ang aking mga
kababayan...”
- As Fr. Gomez, while circling around in his room thinking about it.
- One day at Angelus Time (6:00PM), he suddenly thought one plan to help his fellow
Filipino.
- Tomorrow, he go to the municipal of Bacoor to plead for the protection and rights of
filipinos in Cavite, to keep his guard and soldiers control over the abuse of the Filipinos.
Fr. Gomez: “Maghahain sana ako sainyo ng apela, gobernador, na utusan nyo ang mga
kawal nyo na tigilan ang pagaabuso, ang mga sapilitang pag-gawa, ang mga pilit na
pagbabayad ng malaking buwis sakanila at sa mga iba pang mamayanang Pilipino!”
Gobernadorcillo: “At sino ka naman para utusan ako? Wlang ginagawang masama ang
aking mga kawal. Sila lamang ay nagbabantay para sa kapayapaan ng Bacoor”

Fr. Gomez: “Hindi nyo ba nakikita ang pagaabuso sakanila? Pilit nalang inaapi ang mga
ito, mas lalo na ang mga inosente? Wala ba kayong nakikita? Wala ba kayong puso?
Gobernadorcillo: “Paki-labas na nga itong indiong pari. Nakaka-walang ganang kausap!”

• Scene 4: (10s)
- After returning in his parish, With all distress in thinking about how to help his fellow
countrymen, he is thinking a plan, to help the Filipinos make stand against the Spanish
Colonizers

Fr. Gomez: “Ano kaya ang pwede kong gawin para matulungan ang aking mga
kababayan...”
- As Fr. Gomez, while circling around in his room thinking about it.

- One night at 7pm after his evening prayer. he suddenly thought one plan to help his
fellow Filipino. He Immediately ran to his room, fetch his paper and pen, and named the
first page of the Paper:
Fr. Gomez: “La Verdad… itong papel na ito ay magsisilbing boses ng mga Pilipino laban sa
mga Espanyol"

• Scene 5: (10s)
- A scene that every Filipinos in Bacoor Cavite and the near cities of it reading the “La
Verdad” published by Fr. Gomez
- It was secretly giving out to everyone. There is a man, with a bayong, containing the
paper of Fr. Gomez, he quickly give it out to lady on the palengke, to a man in the
streets, and inside of a church.

• Scene 6: (10s)
- One day, a revolt happened in Cavite. A group of Filipino attacked the Fort San Felipe.
- It was a massacre between the Filipino workers and Spanish troops
Filipino 1: “Laban mga kababayan, para sa ating bansa!”
Spanish 1: “Alineaos, tropas!...Fuego!”

Filipino 2: “Hintayin muna natin ang paputok ng ating mga tropa sa kabila!...”

- A firework was seen by leader of the resistance, he mistook it was a signal of his
another group to form an attack at the side of the Fort San Felipe.

Filipino 2: “Saglet! Hindi yaan ang ating mga tropa sa kabila!”


Spanish 2: “Apoderado y disparar contra ellas”

- Filipino Resistance was seized by the Spanish Troops and failed the attempt mutiny in
the Cavite.

• Scene 7: (10s)
- 2 days after the attempt mutiny in the Fort. Spanish Enforcers go to the Church where
Fr. Gomez is currently residing. They seize him and go to the court of the Spanish
Official. While there, he saw 2 priests in chain, waiting for trial

Official: “Kayo ba ang nagplano ng nangyari nuong Huwebes sa San Felipe?”


Fr. Burgos: “Wla akong ginawang pagplano laban sainyo. Hindi ko alam ang mga
pangyayaring ito”
Fr. Zamora: “Ni wala nga akong alam sa mga ganitong bagay! Bakit Ninyo pa ako sinama
dito!”
Official: “Sabi ng isang mga kasamahan nyo, may pinapamigay na papel bago mangyari
ang trahedya na ito, at itong papel na ito ay sinasabing sainyo nang galing. Kayo nga ang
talagang pasimuno nang nangyari sa San Felipi!”
Fr. Gomez: “Sinasabi ko rin sa iyo! Wla akong ginagawang pagplano na labanan doon sa
San Felipe!”
Fr. Zamora: “Tama. Wla kaming alam sa mga ganitong bagay na pagplano!”
Fr. Burgos: “Inosente kami!”
Official: “Tama na ang pagsisinungaleng! Ikulong na itong taong ito! At hahatulsyang
garote sa darating na Linggo!”

- while the three of them in jail, they are worry about their life. Fr. Zamora was seen
crying a lot, while Fr. Burgos left in shock about what happened.

• Scene 8: (20s)
- The day of the trial, priest was escorted to the place where they will be executed
publicly. One of the people seeing crying over what happened. One of them feel mad
with tears in their eyes.
- Fr. Burgos was finally entered on the trial, He cried like a child, but managed to greet
with a handshake of his all his friends whom he recognized in the huge crowd.
- Second one, Fr, Zamora entered on the trial, he was like one dazed and unconscious of
what was going on. (He had suffered a mental breakdown and was, for all intents and
purposes, already dead before they did him in.)

- Finally, Fr. Gomez entered, with eyes open and with furrowed brow, blessed the
multitude who knelt at his feet as he passed by. Gomes, the oldest of the three, had
made peace with God and his natural son. Resigned to his fate, he said:
Fr. Gomez: “Alam na alam ko na walang kahit isang dahon ang makagalaw, maliban sa
kalooban ng Banal na Lumikha. Dahil ito ay Kanyang kalooban na ako ay mamatay sa
lugar na ito, mayroong Kanyang kalooban na dapat gawin”

- Burgos was the opposite; he stood up from the garrote and shouted:
Fr. Burgos: “Anong krimen ang nagawa ko? Mamamatay ba ako sa ganitong paraan?
Wala bang hustisya sa mundo?”

- A group of friars then went up and pushed him into the garrote, and that made Burgos
struggle more as he shouted:
Fr. Burgos: “Pero inosente ako!”
- Burgos only calmed down and accepted his fate when one of the priests holding him
down hushed him with the words:
Priest 1: “Maging si Hesukristo ay walang kasalanan”
- Poor executioner asked for forgiveness and said:
Executioner: “trabaho lang ito”
- that moved the compassionate Burgos to give his blessing, and as he did so, the crowd
of uziseros attending the execution knelt in a silence that terrified the Spaniards in the
killing fields.
- And a scene, where Young Rizal watching the execution of the GOMBURZA
