Subject: Request for Eligibility Clarification, Attendance Consideration, and Early Leave for
Internship Work

Respected Sir,

I am writing to inquire about my eligibility to appear in the upcoming mid-semester examinations,


as well as to seek clarification regarding my current attendance record.

I have been selected as a Project Intern at Infosys Springboard, where I am required to attend
regular knowledge sessions and mentor meetings on a daily basis. This internship is a team-based
project involving 25 interns from across the country, with an assigned mentor from the global
Infosys team.

The internship spans 8 weeks/2 Months and requires the completion of all four milestones, along
with maintaining an attendance of 80% or above in all assigned meetings to qualify for the
completion certificate.
Additionally, this internship is part of the CSIR initiative by the Government of India, in which
companies like Infosys are actively involved in providing valuable opportunities for students
nationwide.

In light of these commitments, I kindly request the following:

1. Eligibility for Mid-Semester Examinations: I request you to please consider my situation


and allow me to appear for the mid-semester exams.
2. Attendance Consideration: Due to the nature of the internship, I may not be able to meet
the standard attendance requirements. I request you to kindly review my attendance with
special consideration for this internship.
3. Request for Early Leave: In order to effectively manage both my academic responsibilities
and internship requirements, I request permission for early leave from the college when
necessary.

I will be attending regular college sessions on the days when no sessions from the Infosys team have
be put up.
I was having a final attendance of 78% in IV semester and I assure you that I will complete all
assignments, written work, lab files, and lab reports on time without delay.
I have attached the relevant documents, including the offer letter for your reference, and I will
provide the official Infosys mail ID as soon as I receive it for verification purposes.

I sincerely appreciate your understanding and support in this matter and look forward to your
guidance.
