1 Introduction

1.1 Objective
The objective of this Translation Glossary is to establish a common and unambiguous
vocabulary for translation work related to TOGAF 9 material.

1.2 Overview
This document is the English to French Translation Glossary for TOGAF 9. The scope of this
document is translation of terms in the TOGAF 9 specification.

This document is structured as follows:

• Chapter 1 is an introduction.
• Chapter 2 defines the Translation Glossary containing translations and explanations
corresponding to Chapter 3 and Appendix A of the TOGAF 9 specification.
• Appendix A (Informative) contains an Extended Glossary containing translations and
explanations of concepts from other sections of TOGAF 9.

1.3 Future Directions

It is anticipated that in future this document may expand to cover additional TOGAF 9
documentation beyond the specification.
