1. Schools Should do with Homework
a) Assertion : As we know that in every school in this world there are limitation in the
time when students learning. As the result, teachers begin to find another way to make
the students become more understand despite the time in school is very limited.
Homework came up as the chance to give students extra time to get their
understanding on their lessons.
b) Reasoning :
- Homework serves as a valuable extension of classroom learning.
- Homework providing students with opportunities to reinforce concepts, develop
critical thinking skills, and also self-dicipline.
- Homework allowing students to practice and apply what they have learned in class
independently.
c) Evidence :
- Prommin Songsirisak, Jutharat Jipranee (2019) in the article “Impact of
Homework Assignment on Students’ Learning” found that homework benefited
and supportetd students’ learning, they are able to acquire knowledge, developed
learning skills, and increased academic achievements.
- F Javier Murillo, Cynthia Martinez-Garrido (2014) in the article “Homework and
Primary-School Students’ Academic Achievement in Latin America” revealed
that teachers in Latin America who give homework and do the follow up session
of its students have proof to be maximise effective learning that the teachers do.
d) Link Back : With homework, teachers can support students’ academic growth, foster
independent learning skills, and reinforce the importance of responsibility and self-
dicipline. Homework became vital tool in learning process because it is
complementing students’ knowledge. That is why I stand for schools should do with
homework.
2. The Importance of Vaccination
a) Assertion : I stand for the vaccination is important because vaccination can providing
people against deadly diseases, preventing outbreaks, and safe the human populations.
b) Reasoning :
- Vaccination plays a pivotal role in preventing the spread of infectious diseases by
strenghen the body’s immune system.
- Vaccination can help the immune system to develope antibodies to fight viruses or
bacteria.
- Vaccination can created herd immunity of the population that making diseases
difficult to spread.
c) Evidence :
- Historical evidence : Spanish Flu – Influenza & Smallpox.
- Diseases Prevention : polio, tetanus, hepatitis, and Covid-19.
- Can created public healt or herd immunity such as when we fight against Covid-
19.
d) Link Back : The evidence demonstrates that vaccination is a milestone for public
health, with proven benefits for both individual and communities. By ensuring the
widespread of vaccination we can ultimately save million lives. Not only that,
promoting the importance of vaccination also can maintaining the population health
and well-being.
3. Influencer Delivers More Dangers Than Benefits
a) Assertion : The influence used by social media influencers poses significant risks to
society. Such as, promotes unrealistic standards, spreads misinformation, and
contributes to mental health issues among impressionable audiences.
b) Reasoning :
- Influencers often shows harmful behaviors and attitudes, such as materialism,
impossible beauty standard, and wrong lifestyle.
- Influencers are very often to spread misinformation and make people believe
because of their popularity. Such as trading case.
- Influence can lead the audiences to have mental health issues such as, anxiety and
overthinking because seeing glamorous influencer.
c) Evidence :
- Historical evidence : Binomo trading victims resulted by Indra Kenz the
influencer.
- Social evidence : People became more consumptive when video “Berapa harga
outfit lo?” was going viral.
d) Link Back : As we can see in the evidences that highlighting negative impact of
influencers, I bravely stand to agree that influencers delivers more dangers than
benefits. I also believe that efforts to mitigate these risks is our responsibility. By
promoting digital literacy, encouraging critical thinking when use social media, and
so on. I do believe when it became a reality in our society, our people will can avoid
these risks and get more and more benefits from social media or internet.
